About this deal

as seen in the Equinox Series which made it a real game changer in the metal detecting world and by far the best selling metal detector in 2018, 2019 and probably all-time to date. Let me also mention that Vanquish 440 is the best when you need to detect small-sized targets, including small shots. Also, it detects small coins at quite sufficient depth (like Equinox). I’m confident that even the true novice will be using the Minelab Vanquish 440 effectively in no time. Minelab engineers have thought this through in detail and gave us a product that will put smiles on many faces. The Vanquish line of metal detectors is one of Minelab’s newest products. It consists of the following detectors: the Minelab Vanquish 340, Minelab Vanquish 440, and Minelab Vanquish 540.

At that, the rivals on the market are very active and they continue designing new metal detectors. For example, Turkish Nokta Simplex can successfully compete with most of modern metal detectors for beginners.

Procedure: Tests were designed to examine sensitivity at depth, ability to separate good targets from junk, performance in dry soil and wet salt sand as well as operational stability in saltwater. Findings: Detailed findings are as shown on the test data sheet with comments and conclusions directly below.

A: Iron bias adjusts the likelihood of the metal detector to identify a target as iron if it has both ferrous and non-ferrous signals. Ferrous targets produce a combination of ferrous and non-ferrous responses, with large targets giving a strong non-ferrous response. A ferrous target near a non-ferrous target can produce similar responses. Můžete se pohybovat v jakýchkoli půdách, nebo hledat jakékoli cíle. Díky technologi Multi IQ máte současně v rukou jak detektor na nejjemnější zlaté cíle, tak přístroj pro hledání depotů. The Minelab Vanquish 540 is the second highest priced metal detector in the Vanquish series (the most expensive is technically the Vanquish 540 Pro, which comes with an additional search coil). This is the alpha dog of the Vanquish line and has the most features. You should walk slowly and smoothly with Vanquish 440, just like with all Minelab metal detectors. Hold the search coil 1 inch above the ground, and each wave of the coil should cover 1/3 of the previous one. A nice bonus is that you don’t have to take extremely small steps or bend over (it is quite annoying). The Simplex+ is a single frequency VLF metal detector operating at 12 kHz. This model has frequency shift which allows it to compensate for electromagnetic interference. This does not mean the model has multiple frequencies, but rather than it can slightly shift frequencies to compensate for interference.Overall, my recommendation is one of the Vanquish line of metal detectors. The Minelab Vanquish 440 is a great beginner metal detector with enough features to make an intermediate detectorist happy but is simple enough for a newbie to operate. And it has a great price! Because the Vanquish 440 has a few more features than the 340, if it falls within your budget, I recommend this model. VANQUISH welcomes tough terrain. It dominates at the beach in wet sand and salt water, outperforming other detectors that can’t compete. 12 discrimination segments deliver control over what metals you want to accept or reject. The most significant difference between NiMh and Li-ion is that you can discharge Li-ion to any level and charge it whenever you want. While it is recommended to charge NiMh right after you get it and then you should completely discharge it. A: It depends on how you will be using the detector. A good rule of thumb is the bigger the search coil the more area you can cover and the deeper it can go. But deeper is not always better. Large coils have less sensitivity to smaller targets and are susceptible to electromagnetic interference. The 540 comes with a 12” and 8” search coil. So, the 12” coil will cover more ground and search deeper but may suffer the effects of electromagnetic interference. This gives you better target ID and discrimination at greater depth, and the versatility to perform in a wider range of ground types, handling mineralisation, wet sand, etc.

Metal detector Minelab Vanquish 340, Vanquish 440, and Vanquish 540 have had their first firmware update. As the developers say, VANQUISH 540 has become more effective. A new setting, Iron Volume Control, was introduced. It will allow controlling the iron volume you’d like to hear and make trashy and mineralized soil easier for metal detecting. Another important thing to keep in mind is that – and Minelab haven’t even tries to conceal this fact! – the main purpose of this new series is to eventually bury the Garrett Ace metal detectors, the main favourite and one of the most popular series in the beginner segment on the market since the time of dinosaurs – since 2005, to be more precise. More than that, the real intelligence of the system is that the Multi-IQ processing will collate and compare the signals from all operating frequencies, analasing the similarities and differences between them to get a clearer picture of what's really down there. This gives you better target ID and discrimination at greater depth, and the versatility to perform in a wider range of ground types, handling mineralisation, wet sand, etc. That means you can find and identify targets that a single frequency will struggle with. Purpose: Evaluate the overall operational capability, sensitivity and stability of the Minelab Vanquish 440 metal detector under various test conditions. As always, I report findings and provide comments from strictly a user perspective–not that of a technical engineer. The 600 and 800 come standard with an 11” Double-D Smart coil with skid plate, while the Vanquish 440 comes with a 10” search coil. One major advantage of the Equinox series is both detectors are fully waterproof up to 10 feet, while the Vanquish metal detectors only have waterproof coils (up to 3.3 feet) and water-resistant control boxes.

Proč Multi-IQ? Protože díky revoluční technologii Multi-IQ máte kombinovanou sílu více detektorů v jednom - všechny pracovní frekvence detektoru běží současně. Přitom nic nenastavujete, prostě detektor zapnete a jdete. analasing the similarities and differences between them to get a clearer picture of what's really down there.

Each search mode is fully optimized for best performance in finding the specific treasures. This model also features Custom mode, which allows you to save your favorite settings (i.e., discrimination, sensitivity, volume, etc.). The Vanquish 440 works in all terrains, including mountains, deserts, rivers, beaches, fields, parks, and yards. You’ll be a bit crazy professional. Since, I personally, won’t be able to dig having 5 discrimination segments in my device… Noise cancelThe VANQUISH detector screen will show "UP" turning the update; the first discrimination segment will blink rapidly while the update is in progress. The Vanquish 540 can read with confidence at a depth of 12” with the V12 search coil, and the signal is strong even in mineralized soils. The coil could read deeper in areas with lower mineralization. In this article, we will compare the Vanquish 440 to the 540 and ultimately decide which is better. We will declare a winner in the battle of the Minelab Vanquish 440 vs Vanquish 550 at the end! Photo What really sets the Vanquish 440 apart from other entry level metal detectors is the Multi-IQ technology. The Equinox 600 and 800 have the same Multi-IQ technology, but at a hugely increased price. The Simplex+ is a great model too, but only has a single frequency.
