The selection of royal-inspired sweet and savoury nibbles form part of Asda’s new 22-item Coronation range, so whether it’s a street party, picnic or BBQ, there’s something for everyone to enjoy on the big day. I was extremely honoured and touched to have been among the first honours presented by His Majesty King Charles III, whom I first had the honour of meeting many years ago and so, combined with our shared long association with the Royal Family and Scotland, it is very special to be able to commemorate the Coronation and His Majesty with these celebratory tins.” lt;p>Allergens; Wheat, milk. M&S is now selling a limited edition collection of commemorative tins to mark the coronation of King Charles III. Available online and in stores from today (17 April), Tesco’s new coronation range aims to help its shoppers plan a ‘celebration fit for royalty’. The King's Coronation is just around the corner (it's on Saturday 6 May FYI) and we can't wait for all the events that are planned over the course of the Bank Holiday weekend. If you're a fan of the Royal Family and love a collectible keepsake, then you'll be pleased to hear that M&S has just launched a limited edition collection of commemorative tins and tasty food items to mark the Coronation of HM King Charles III. In terms of the best trifle, then the crown for me goes straight to M&S. They said it was their "Best Ever" trifle on the label, and for me it was the best of the entire bunch we tested here. Yes, it's more expensive, but on taste it was a clear winner.

Launching in March, the celebratory, collector’s tins house a regal colour scheme of dark blue with intricate accents of gold with each tin capturing a poignant portrait of His Majesty at official events both in London and Scotland. The ‘King Charles III: The Westminster Coronation Limited Edition’ Tin Each of the distinguished tins are also adorned with the official Royal Warrant for the supply of shortbread to the Royal Household which the Scottish family business was awarded with in 2017, as well as a prominent headline tribute of Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin)( Cereals containing gluten ), Butter ( Milk ), Sugar, Salt, It stood up well compared to the others as a classic "entry level trifle" I'd say. I liked the way the sponge was squishy and soaked into the fruit and jelly layers too.

Asda has royally waved at the public festivities with a raft of offerings from its bakery department. Sending food became a love language once again and sales have been very strong ever since,” she explains. But that was probably as good as it got for me. I felt all of the layers were very watery and bland - especially in comparison to the other two strawberry trifles tested here.
