Programmable using the Novation Components browser-based tool, Custom Modes let you design the behaviour of your Launchkey, with control over control assignments, MIDI routing, pad colour and much more.

With this MIDI keyboard controller, you are also unlocking some useful features that are not found on your everyday controllers. Pin MIDI DIN Output: Launchkey MK3 37 is equipped with a full-size 5-pin MIDI DIN output, enabling simple connection to the universe of MIDI devices — new and old. Make music immediately – Free software, including Ableton Live 10 Lite, virtual instruments, plugins and sample packs let you start creating straight away. This brings me to one of my only complaints about the Launckey MkIII: Most computers keep the power on their USB ports even when turned off, so the only way to stop the glow of those pads is to pull the USB cable out.
