I enjoyed both their performances and would listen to this Narration team again.

And sometimes this connection involves just a little magic. This was a slow burn, arranged marriage, age gap, Mafia Romance that hit a lot of my favorite things in a romance.
Keir was amazing, loyal, and smart. He shined through Rowan without taking the spotlight from her. He was addictively grumpy but also hot and lethal af! Which means…boyfriend material! Series: The Byrne brothers #2 (can be read as a standalone, but linked to another series by the same author) Curse and Craving” is the first novel in the “Of Myth and Man” series and was released in 2022. Rebecca’s new job landed her in this new country, however it may as well have been a whole different world. There’s this underground world of secrets and magic ruthlessly guarded by this elite group of Fae warriors. This place has brought out a power buried deep inside of Rebecca. A monstrous and dark power. She’s got no choice but to turn to the Fae for their help.Corrupted Union was a solid 5 star read for me - I absolutely loved it! It was definitely a bit of an emotional rollercoaster ride. Rowan has a lot of trauma she hasn't worked through and it's heart breaking at times. I absolutely love the "steal her from the other man (OM)" trope and this one certainly delivers. I won't ruin what happens, but Keir definitely was getting the girl whether she wanted it or not, lol. Well written with a great storyline and a touch of suspense thrown in. Definitely a "mafia lite" type of read and it totally hit the spot. Highly recommend and I cannot wait until the next book comes out! The hero is not a manwhor3. Doesn’t even talk about it or have a history about it. Even people around him doesn’t even say that about him. Guns, killing, death, car accidents, childhood trauma, abuse, adoption, high on violence, mafia and arrange marriage. I wanted her to not speak for a lot longer than the book gave us. She started speaking to him WAY too early and he finds out about her deception even earlier than that. When she finally decided that she wanted to see if she could walk the walk, she decided to write in the style of the “Fever” series by Karen Marie Moning, Jill’s favorite series. Those that have read Karen’s books will see a strong resemblance between their first two novels in the overall concept of a woman going to Ireland and finding the Fae. But after that their stories diverge. The idea was always so intriguing, that was the very first place that her imagination would go when she decided to write.
Noemi is the daughter of a mafia member and has found herself to be in a delicate situation that if handled improperly can have dire consequences. Connor is in line to become mafia boss (joint) of a separate mafia clan and has agreed to Wed Noemi in an allegiance of the two mafia clans believing she was the best choice due to her mutism.The books have a different aura to them but the one thing that stays the same is the possessive love MMC feel towards their better half and that’s too hot to handle. The spark between Keir and Rowan is undeniable and the connection is instant, it was so sweet to see them develop their feelings in slow motion. The situation they were in was not at all ideal but in the end, Love Conquers all. Jill is a Texan, born and raised. She manages the hectic social calendars for her three active children and occasionally spends an evening with her dashing husband. Aside from being an author and a mom, she's a travel junkie and loves to read when she is not lost in her own stories.
