About this deal

people discredit silver mountain water for both the performance n projection but maybe the specific scent profile has to be very soft or else you get smth like this idk? Lovely fresh scent, very enjoyable in first 2 hrs with citrusy floral and musky notes then it's just ambroxan and musk mostly. Armaf has done to Creed what Netflix did to Blockbuster; the only perplexing thing is some people still claim they like the meditative ritual of being stuck in traffic and queuing up, to eventually pay more for the same thing. Read more about the condition New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable). Initial spray for about 1 minute was extremely harsh like a mix between ink and lemon scented cleaning product.

At first I thought that it was completely different, but after the second sniff I noticed something: It's just a lot weaker. Sure the opening is much more smooth in the original but it is gone in a sec and this is where this one shines. Can’t imagine a situation where I’d prefer to smell like this over anything else, so I suppose I’d say it’s mediocre to good depending on personal tastes. I read a lot of people were getting a better result from letting the bottle sit for a few months, so I did just that. I finally settled on the lesser known, Afnan Supremacy in Heaven, which I found to be much closer to the original, but with a slightly fresher and brighter touch.

I tried it and it sucks… its a weird smell I would associate to public bathrooms that were just washed. For reference, I think Club de Nuit Milestone is a very good dupe of Millesime Imperial; so I am not slagging clones or this house in general. CDN Sillage is not synthetic or cheap smelling to my nose, but it is intense, so that may be why some consider it “headache inducing” so just go easy on the sprays.

I just haven't been wearing SMW just because I am always exploring different scents ever since I got serious with fragrances. In contrast, I love Club de Nuit Intense Man with its much smoother blend and not as harsh on its opening. This fragrance is juicy and fresh while boasting a masculine power that perfectly brings out your character. Ok this does smell like SMW, but the opening has that sour inky smell that I can't enjoy no matter how many times I try to get into it. If you don't have time for that, let me sum up what he says in a shocking quote as it relates to his personal experience with Creed, Creed's evolution, Club de Nuit Sillage, and how it compares to Creed's current SMW: "This isn't like a clone, it's like a statement. The most obvious difference to me is the sweeter ambroxan in this vs the salty "ambergris" that runs across many Creed frags. I can detect Ambroxan from the beginning to the end, hence I think it is a twist, not a clone per se of SMW.

Minus this implementation of amber, or with a labdanum/benzoin amber instead, I would absolutely love this fragrance. I applied both on each arm and immediately noticed the harshness and strong lemon notes in the Sillage in comparison to the original. like it does work in the air but the very synthetic composition of this frag just does not make it a very pleasant experience as the wearer. I'm still not even hardly through my bottle, and I have been thinking of getting Milestone as well, but I think I will get Milestone when Sillage eventually runs out and use it for the similar purpose. There are a lot of people said they felt inky smell and I've realized that make "Domino effect" to the rest noses. All except the Al Rehab out perform the Armaf Sillage in terms of longevity and they're all closer to my nose and memory to SMW. I've used other SMW clones, most notably Silver by Al Rehab - which is FAR too metallic and synthetic to be enjoyable for more than an hour or two. For most armaf fragrances, after spraying about 5 times and letting it sit for a day or two, it becomes really good. You’re not going believe me when i say this but my friend could smell me even after 10 minutes i walked away.

Sillage is a very good performer and when I first wore it I got a headache as I put too much on thinking it wouldn’t perform well as we all know SMW doesn’t. Insanely versatile as well owing to its amazing blend, has the freshness and bright accords to put you in a jolly mood in summers but at the same time has a certain cosy and mystic feel to it that can make it a good option for winters too; definitely can be used almost entire year round in daytime (probably excluding extreme heat). The performance is really good for such a white soapy scent keeps the real long and has a good projection. Very Interesting to read that some other reviewers really don't like it, maybe the younger crowd under 25 won't like it? As for comparison, I’d say it like this: if SMW was a DNA, then Creed’s SMW is like the cologne concentration and CDN Sillage is the Intense/EDP concentration. Fresh citrusy opening, then woody floral (tea-like) dry down with hints of the initial citrus blast. Armaf has yes as some have already noticed several clones they either among themselves 'twisten' or simply filled the same juice in another bottle and released.
