About this deal

Based on a computer database of human eras, the T3 Plus is designed for optimal fit and comfort. In fact, it’s almost identical in shape to the Tin Hifi T5 but is slightly smaller. The T3 Plus’ shells are 3D-printed resin with a smooth hand-finished surface. The Titan S are now my default recommendation for a neutrally tuned pair of IEMs in the budget segment.

I view these two LCP giants as complementary sets, and they bring different tunings to the CHIFI budget buffet table. Vs. HZSound Heart Mirror The overall tuning of the mids is well done and vocals sound natural. The interplay between the lower mids elevation and abundance of upper mids acts to balance each other out. The T3 Plus is thus neither shouty nor warm. Nor is it sterile nor harsh. Vocals have plenty of presence and clarity as expected from the T3 Plus’ upper mids focus while retaining the full depth of its body thanks to the lower mids. Yet it doesn’t monopolize the stage but mixes in well with the support cast of other instruments. Likewise, instrument timbre is excellent regardless of what I threw at it. Electric guitars are particularly enjoyable. I have no complaints with the mids of the T3 Plus. It’s just pleasant. TrebleSo what’s the difference then? Not so much to be honest, the P1 Plus simply fixes the few issues found on the prior model, as the brand collected numerous enthusiasts’ suggestions, and used them to update their IEM. Where the T3 Plus gain the upper-hand are with female vocals as they are more forward and articulate. The bass is also faster on the T3 Plus with less bleeding in the lower-mids. Lifted from the BQ3 review: As I have previously stated, the T3 is what the T2 Pro should have been. And the T2 Pro is what the T2 should have been. Of the three, I like the T3 the best. It has the most rounded sound of the three. The T2 was clear and concise but left any semblance of a bass sound at the station. The T2 Pro helped alleviate this somewhat, but not completely and in my mind at the expense of that clarity. The T3 melds the best, with a solid bass (not as much quantity as the BQ3 or C16), that gives a hint of rumble. And that is running through the Burson Fun with the warmer V6 Vivid OpAmp. So, it is still a little light. For the Bass it has come with a 10mm dynamic driver sub Bass focused tuning. At first 1 thought the bass wasn't adequate, after tweeking a bit with the Equaliser by increasing few Dbs in low frequency section it started sounding Much Much better. yes this 10mm Dynamic driver can take the EQ like a charm. One thing that certainly deserves praise, at least from me, is that they have opted for 2 pin connectors instead of MMCX! Yes, I know that the T1 Plus also had 2 pin connectors (which were similar to the ones used by KZ, rather than the flush ones on the T3+) but I am still happy that they are used. In the past I have had issues with MMCX connectors and the Tin T2 were the ones that I had most issues with, so it is nice not to have to worry about that happening on the T3+.

The Audiosense AQ0 overall sounds much livelier and more fun than the T3 plus due to its basshead-approved bass quality and quantity. Mids are also much more recessed on the AQ0 by a fairly small margin when compared. Treble is much more extended on the AQ0 as well. Soundstage and imaging are nearly the same on both IEMs, but the T3 Plus is a little better on the separation. Fit and feel are very good on both IEMs but the T3 Plus is much better. Overall, The AQ0 gives the decent “fun”, while the T3 Plus gives the “mature laugh”. All-in-all, quite well done treble, balancing extension without veering into fatiguing territory. Comparisons This is my favorite subject as I am a strong believer in matching it right to strike synergy. T3+ will already be sounding great direct from the Phone out from my Quad DAC of LG V50. However notably, while the sound quality itself is quite satisfying, the soundstage is not as wide or spacious as how it should be. The same can be said of the pair of Avani and Abigail – T3+ already performing great with approx. 1 Vrms of driving power. Very efficient. Overall, the highs are reminiscent of TinHIFI's previous offerings. Sufficient details are present but the elevation is focused more on the lower treble; a safe option especially for treble sensitive people. However, the shell nozzles are on the longer side, and I suspect this may be an issue for those with smaller ears. Tip-rolling, as described above, may mitigate the insertion length to some extent, so do explore with the various ear tips for a comfort perspective. Internals

The shells are dark enough to not allow me to see the insides of them but from the outside they look to be well made. I guess only time will tell but I can’t foresee any specific issues with the build. I compared the Olina with some other single DD sets. Hybrids and pure BA IEMs were left out of the comparison as the different transd

The accessories are pretty generous for a budget pair. Ear tips No foam tips are provided, but there are 2 variants of silicone tips available. In 2017, TIN HiFi officially launched and is committed to the OEM/ODM business in the global HI-FI industry. TIN HiFi’s dream is to bring Hi-Fi sound and quality to a more accessible price point. With gorgeous craftsmanship and breathtaking sound quality, we strive to ensure that high-quality music is no longer a luxury, but the norm. With fine craftsmanship, comfortable wearing, beautiful sound quality, and unbeatable price, high-quality music is no longer out of reach with TIN HiFi products. The TinHifi T4 is a great IEM, period. If I didn’t want to believe the hype at first, I had no choice but admit that TinHifi completely overturns the tide in their favor. The T4 sounds and feels like a major in-ear: a clean shape with sturdy construction and the right amount of sophistication, combined with one the best dynamic driver you can find in this price range.” Before jump into the review 1 want to thank Mr.Pritam for Recommending SR5 and thank the Audio Store staff to dispatching the product on the same day itself. What the Titan S cede in bass quantity, they ace in quality, with the bass being tight, fast, and accurate. Texturing is above average (though perhaps not class-leading) with no mid-bass bleed. As far as details, I find this is probably the weakest point of the T3+. It is not bad, there are details, but it is not as detailed (in my opinion) as something like the T2+. I think a lot of this is due to the tuning that they have opted for with this set, it is certainly not as “in your face” as the T2+. The details are there, within reason, but they don’t jump out at you. AMPLIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND SOURCE PAIRING:The TinHiFi T3 Plus is very easy to drive. I did not notice hiss with any of my sources. In terms of technical performance, imaging, instrument separation, clarity and micro-details are very good for a budget single DD IEM. Soundstage is quite wide (though only about average for soundstage depth and height). Finish is top notch (as all iterations have been), with a good mix of polished and burnished surfaces. All those pieces fit together as one would expect. Near-perfectly. I won’t mention some much higher priced IEM’s, which do not have the same build quality of the TinHiFi. Nicely done. The T3 Plus is quite an intimate sounding earphone. In terms of tuning, it achieves a good balance between the vocal presentation, energetic upper mids-lower treble, and punchy bass made for an enjoyable dynamic sound. That said, the T3 Plus isn't the most detailed sounding earphones, and I often found myself missing some of the finer nuances of the music, but overall, the tonality was very enjoyable, and I would say the T3 Plus is very versatile with genres.
