About this deal

JBL maintained the IPX7 rating, so the Boombox 2 is well suited to being around splashing water and rain. You could submerge it in clear water for up to 30 minutes, and it can even float, except it tilts forward, muffling the music into the water. Bluetooth also doesn’t travel well when submerged, so best to keep its water exposure to solid ground. We weren't surprised to discover that this thing is bassy – it's something JBL seems to revel in – but the lead guitar and vocals were never overwhelmed and generally there was a nice balance to the mix. If we're being totally honest, the JBL Boombox 2 doesn't sound much different to the original speaker, which we should probably have expected since JBL hasn't really changed much inside. Choosing a Bluetooth speaker requires you to know what version of Bluetooth it supports. The quality of the audio transmission and the distance between the phone and the Bluetooth device are determined by this criteria. For optimal audio quality, Bluetooth version 4.0 or above is often recommended. Battery life and charging For example, you can connect two JBL Boombox 2 speakers together using JBL Connect+, creating a powerful stereo sound system that is perfect for parties, outdoor gatherings, or any other occasion where you want to bring the music with you. The JBL Boombox 2 is JBL’s second take on the portable speakers that became cultural status symbols in urban areas during the 1980s and 1990s. It comes three years after the company’s first Boombox and is an update rather than a reimagining, retaining the same structural design while incorporating most of the features found in the original.

All day long, the JBL Boombox produces massive sound and bass. According to the manufacturer, it has four different active transducers and 2 JBL bass radiators, resulting in a massive sound with powerful bass. It has two sound modes: an indoor mode that produces a richer sound with a deeper bass, and an outdoor mode that produces a louder bass sound with a longer runtime. Boombox 3 contains a 72.6 Wh rechargeable Li-ion polymer batteries that can last for 24 hours on a single charge. From zero to full charge takes roughly 6.5 hours of charging. We live in a different world than the one that produced the boomboxes of old. As much as we might feel nostalgic for the style and utility of older boomboxes, that doesn't mean we're not looking for modern features.Bluetooth, or wireless communication in general, is the cornerstone of those modern features we're talking about. For most of us, our phone, tablet, or computer is the main source of our music. Every single model we're looking at in this article features Bluetooth, so the boomboxes can link up to these devices and play the sounds you want. That being said, Boombox 3 didn’t sound all of that different from Boombox 2. In the house, it’s nice, but out in the open, it truly shines. Battery Life

With the Partyboost function on both JBLs, you can connect several JBL Partyboost compatible speakers together for a more powerful sound. Boombox 3 may be paired with another JBL speaker to produce a stereo effect, or numerous PartyBoost-compatible speakers can be linked together for a more expansive sound system. Both speakers are equipped with 3.5mm AUX and micro USB inputs. IP Rating

Loud, bassy and rugged, the JBL Boombox 2 is a force to be reckoned with

Bluetooth 5.1 with multi-pairing is included in the JBL Boombox 2. The speaker’s Bluetooth frequency extends from 2.402GHz to 2.480GHz and its transmitter power is less than 10dBm, yet it is compatible with A2DP 1.3 and AVRCP 1.6 profiles. Je l’ai fait sur plusieurs jours, avec des sessions de 6 heures consécutives, puis 12 heures de repos. Et ainsi de suite.
