About this deal

It’s the big band bountifulness of your dreams, complete with extra special treats from developer Studio MDHR, including yummy family recipes and an exclusive, illustrated foldout poster that’ll make any wall more handsome. This is top-tier, first-class elegance, drenched in passion and oozing with embellishments like gold foil and embossments galore.

Wearing a red top with black pants, Cuphead is posed with his brown shoes lifted in the air, securely holding his onto his head. There, the hop-skipping soundtrack to everyday life rotates at 33rpm, amplified by a copper-horned phonograph. There is a small amount of liquid swishing out from the top of the cup, giving a sense of movement to the figure. This one on iam8bit is a masterclass in authentic jazz music from Kristofer Maddigan based around the Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course game. The opening theme is fill with zippy sounds and from there come harmonised vocals from a 1930s club, epic jazz workouts with big brass energy, and plenty ore treats besides. After this time, we'll be able to send you a replacement and enter a claim in with Royal Mail on your behalf. This is, quite simply, the "Best Of" Cuphead, lovingly curated onto a 2xLP, and featuring exclusive new solos never-before-available on vinyl! Half a decade and we’re still tappin’ our toes to the music of Cuphead — and boy oh boy, it just keeps getting better.

iam8bit has collaborated with Studio MDHR to bring you this period-specific thrill ride of big band boisterousness and jazz jollies – an outrageously rare treat featuring four vinyl records jam packed with some of the smoothest coolest tunes you’ve ever grooved along to. Everything we carry is fully licensed, which supports the composers, musicians, and creative communities who inspire us. All in all a decent sounding release, but the quality control could/should be better for these kinds of collectors editions. After all, this is the conclusion to an epic journey, and the way our pals Cuphead, Mugman and Ms Chalice express themselves best is through movement and sound - so what you hear is what they feel. Following the success of their super-sold-out 4xLP set, iam8bit has curated a selection of Kristofer Maddigan’s acclaimed score onto 2 LPs, featuring previously unreleased solos.Strangely, it sounds fine though considering it feels like the record is designed to sound like an old record from days gone by. As is the case with a lot of iam8bit releases, the packaging and artwork outshines the actual vinyl. Every record is shipped in original factory-applied shrink wrap and has never been touched by human hands.

Glad you asked, because it’s a far more complicated process than both popular screenprinting and giclee techniques. It’s a masterclass in authentic jazz music from Kristofer Maddigan, who seems like he must have traveled forward in time from the 1930s to bring this zippy, riotous big band bounty to life. All image and audio content is used by permission of the copyright holders or their agents, and/or according to fair dealing as per the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. The Inkwell Isles of Studio MDHR's Cuphead are a hand-drawn, hand-painted wonderscape where streaming services and digital dohickeys are nowhere to be seen. The alternate takes of songs are neat to hear (except the ending of Don't Deal With The Devil, wtf is that), however songs like Honeycomb Herald and Pyramid Peril really should've been included. What you’re seeing here is top-tier, first-class elegance, drenched in passion and oozing with embellishments like gold foil and embossments galore. It’s everything you love about Cuphead, but with a little extra seasoning, evident from the first zippy gasp of the game’s opening theme, featuring a cavalcade of harmonized vocals straight outta the coolest downtown nightclub in the 1930s, arranged atop a nuanced and emotionally rambunctious undercurrent. Comes pressed on 180 gram vinyl, housed in 1930's style packaging designed by Jango Snow and Studio MDHR. Chris Remo’s score for Gone Home isn’t just ambiance; it’s a vibrant and flourishing character in itself. We know how much all you beautiful people love to show off your awesome new stuff on Instagram, so why not be immortalised right here? In this The Delicious Last Course collection of ditties, we witness the evolution of maestro Kristofer Maddigan ’s old-timey tunes into unexpected yet perfectly poignant places. Video game music really has no business being this good, it's stuff my grandfather would have danced to in the 40's.
