About this deal

Who the previous Chloés were too rose-heavy, could find here a rather fruity-floral answer. In my eyes, rose tangerine offers a very good start for Chloé fragrance beginners.

His gloomy mood but bounces off the cheerful mood scent - which I carry lighthearted but clearly into the house. Definitely a mimosa perfume, at least that’s what I smell more clearly, and the rose is the May kind of rose, fresh and lemony so blends in with the lemon. I really like mimosa, so quite happy with it. It is a soft innocent type of scent but does not disappear in 2 hours- I can still smell where I sprayed this on my arm quite clearly 3-4 hours later. It reminds me a bit of Iris Perle from Les Indemodables. In that one the clary sage gives spark to the mimosa, and here the cassis and lemon do the same. Nice. First impression is I like it. And if I, when I can afford yet another fragrance, do buy a bigger bottle ( I only have a 30 ml, with little left) I can allow myself to respray a bit during the day.

Will you be claiming the VAT back?

I have a love/hate relationship with the original Chloe EDP. I could never understand the hype as it always smelt fizzy and sharp on my skin, a little like undiluted laundry powder. However during a recent trip to Thailand I wore a sample of the original Chloe for two consecutive days and surprisingly enjoyed the way Chloe smelt in a humid climate. Unfortunately upon returning to Australia (where we experience a dry heat), Chloe had lost much of its rosy, clean charm. I decided to test Chloe's flankers to see if they had anything in common with the scent I so dearly loved overseas. Roses de Chloe was first on my list of flankers to try. A little bit of citrus is mixed in, but just enough to keep this smelling perfectly like fresh wet roses. Nothing at all like Tea Rose from Perfumer's Workshop (sorry!) that the sour citrus slaps you like a lemon peel across the face. I don't wear citrus well at all so that's why I couldn't wear that one well. Now almost an hour has gone by and this is more palatable to my nose. But that is mainly because the scent is disappearing. It hasn't morphed into anything more on me, just faded quite a bit. I am betting that within the hour, it will be *poof*--all gone. I own Solinotes Rose and I would rather wear that than this one. This is a "dislike" for me as the rose is just too "there" to be enjoyable. My husband says "It isn't horrible but you have a lot of other perfumes that are nicer and not as harsh." Then he sneezed. I wore Noir Extreme last night and he loved that one (for frame of reference). This is the most natural rose you could ever smell, according to me. Absolutely lovely. I have the original Chloe too, and love that one as well. If I would have to choose between the two, I couldn’t... but the original is more of a city rose for me, from a florist shop, given by your admirer, or your man. Enjoying city summer. But this one: it is more of an oldfashioned and softly intensive garden rose. Fresh in the morning, when you go out in the dewy grass.

HOWEVER! I REALLY REALLY enjoy this Chloe. I was at the drugstore a year ago and sampled this out of curiosity as I was purchasing the other Chloe for my mother as a present. On the test strip this was very linear - rose and musk. I sprayed it on my wrist thinking nothing of it. It bloomed into something quite beautiful. The musky rose still very prominent but now with undercurrents of jammy fruits, cedar, warm woods, a touch of amber and magnolia. Surprisingly, all notes that I actually enjoy when done in a minimal style (spare blasts of magnolia as I've recently learned to love the scent of this flower). I find this fragrance pleasantly balanced and well mixed. It leaves a soft and romantic drydown which reminds me of the virgin suicides (movie) for some reason.Testing this in the winter (almost) with an inside temperature of 64 degrees F. Two sprays on my right arm. A fresh and feminine fragrance suited to a free spirit with an utterly innate sense of chic. The scent takes the classic rose and ingeniously translates it into a vibrant perfume, intimate and sensual. Chloé Eau de Parfum begins with a combination of floral powdery notes, hints of peony and lychee and springtime freesia. The airy, flirtatious head notes drift away to reveal the richer and more sensual side of the rose. The distinctive character of this unique rose is accompanied by magnolia and lily of the valley, as well as subtle intimations of warm amber and elegant cedarwood. I would not compare to Sisley Izia or Paul Smith Rose as Izia is much soapier, dryer and less sweet/soft and Paul Smith is much sharper and more tart. Izia is a very different kind of fragrance as Sisley has a very distinct sort of style and Paul Smith is a very linear sort of rose. I should get one of these nasal aberrations when I first test the Chloé Rose Tangerine, but first a few facts about the scent: All that being said, I don't think I can recommend this fragrance. I do not think it is an altogether awful perfume, but it just isn't that great either. This is the thing with rose fragrances: there are just so many great alternatives. Especially given its rather awful final few hours, Roses de Chloé is just too much of a rollercoaster ride for me.

Let the world see your femininity in all its bravery and boldness. The sparkling aroma of Chloé Rose Tangerine Eau de Toilette for women translates this notion so flawlessly that you will instantly draw the attention of everyone around you. Exciting to the fragrance is in my eyes, however, that it changes again about two hours after application. When warm woody notes of cedar and ambra are added, rose tangerine gets some character and more presence.I clarified him that this had nothing to do with literary reading - and also hurriedly left the house. Nechte svět spatřit svou ženskost – odvážnou a svobodnou. Toaletní voda pro ženy Chloé Rose Tangerine to skrze svou jiskřivou vůni přeloží svým vonným jazykem natolik dokonale, že ji ve vás nikdo nepřehlédne.

Wow, what a beautiful scent! I absolutely love roses, so I decided to give this a chance. I've never tried Chloe EDP, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm in love with this. Like all fragrances that I own from Chloé, rose tangerine is also perceived by my environment as pleasant and seductive. The typical chloé note also tells my environment - without saying a word - that I wear Chloé. This flanker is a sheer, fruitier take on the original, perfect for Spring and Summer, and perhaps the closest I will ever get to a Chloe I can actually wear without crinkling my nose. It reminds me of the now discontinued LÉau de Chloe but obviously not quite as green. ROSE TANGERINE is, however, more self-confident, modern and feminine than its predecessors, especially joins here a fruity and lively tangerine, which gives the fragrance its name.It fits very nicely into the Chloe line without becoming lost in the signature aesthetic of the house. As I get further along, this is light and still decent. It’s a rose and cedar freshness with a citrus zest. I don’t get much development beyond that, maybe some amber, but not to the point where it stands out on me. About 2 months ago, I tried it again. This time with no expectations. It is what it is, and you know what? I loved it. I think I might just love it more than the original. The original is beautiful, but at times on my skin can be too high pitched and sharp rather than natural. Roses is warmer, muskier (which I like), and more natural. Freedom, lightness and femininity: these are the principles on which Chloé was founded in Paris more than 60 years ago. Today Chloé’s vision of romantic, effortless chic lives in ready-to-wear, accessories, and fragrances.
