April 1st, 2022: Luna makes her speaking debut in the episode " Not A Typical Day", where she also debuts with Naomi and Veronica Storm. Her second outfit, her dress, appears to be inspired by the Dior Spring-Summer 2017 Tulle Dress, worn by Bella Hadid, which featured the brand logo in white ribbon as sleeves, similar to how the "RAINBOW" logo is accentuated at Violet's waist in white ribbon. Both tulle dresses accentuate the waist. Her original quote "I don't follow trends. I set them." was changed to "Own it! I would!" the same line she said in "The Prize at the End of the Rainbow" for unknown reasons. Having very opposing personalities and style, Jade is her closest in her friend group. With Jade advising, helping and defending her when ever the opportunity arises. When Bella wanted to risk her spot at Rainbow High for a competition to have a summer internship with Ramona Barnes, Jade talks her out of it. The following night when Bella can't sleep Jade keeps her distracted by taking her around the school. However Bella betrays Jade's trust and enters the competition anyways. Once Ms. Wright announces Bella's expulsion during class Jade is crushed. After class ends Jade runs to find Bella so she can say a tearful and heartfelt goodbye, Reminding Bella that no matter what happens she'll always be a part of their group. When Violet posts a video of Bella getting expelled and it goes viral, Bella talks to Jade in tears. Jade promises to make things right, and confronts Violet about the situation. Jade is initially very excited for Bella's return to Rainbow High, her face lighting up the second she lays eyes on her. However their relationship has changed once Bella returned. Jade believes Bella is upset with her because they haven't hung out or talked much since Bella's return. When Bella is leaving to the Sparkle Sister's Ski Lodge for winter break, Jade is the only one who doesn't say goodbye to her, instead shying away with an upset look on her face. During Radiant Week however they seem to have a big fight but they make up and talk a little afterwords. They seem to be on good terms once again for now.

Sunny's hairstyle is likely a reference to the "Odango" hairstyle popularized by the title character of the anime Sailor Moon.She's seen in the clip of the girls touching the unicorn statue's horn, along with some other clips.

Once again making a large appearance, Sunny spends the day with Violet as she is tasked with learning all about Rainbow High's crest. She first joins her as they talk with Daphne, learning to follow the light to the next room. Once there, she discovers the map has heat reactive ink, leading them to their final spot. Once there, they are greeted by Ms. Wright who congratulates them and gives them special pins of their own. Willow is an uncommon surname that is derived from the willow tree, perhaps referencing the purple willow. Therefore perishable goods such as food and drink cannot be returned. Sunny appears as she has before hosting with Luna, where they appear to introduce Maria and then leave for most of the episode. With this shared interest, they both walk off to sit down with Sunny's friends, she even waves at Luna across the room with Ash and Nicole, and starts watching Rainbow Vision.She makes another appearance celebrating Violet's millionth view with her. Ruby and Jade are angry at Violet for posting Bella's expulsion video, but Sunny is on Violet's side. However, this all changes when Violet's video of her dancing is leaked, ruining her reputation. Sunny and her friends then decide to cheer her up, wearing face masks and bathrobes and dancing to comfort her. Violet is also someone who has big plans for the future. She greatly admires those who are more notable than her, rather than showing envy or jealousy, and wishes nothing more than to join them in the spotlight. Despite her dramatic tendencies, she's also shown to be a pretty practical person who handles pressure well. Having the online platform she does, she's no stranger to criticism and has learned not to lose her head over every negative comment.
