In the comment section of TikToker [6] @flopedflop's video, TikToker @flopedflop left a comment reading: Before I and other flops soon disappear from tik tok. Instead, they are mostly used by Roblox studio users. In that sense, they are similar to in-game textures that cover the faces of structures and items within Roblox’s worlds. In October 2021, the Skinny Girl Walking Sideways trend emerged due to a TikToker [8] and Douyin user named mnmnooxx00. Other parody accounts went more viral in September 2021. For instance, on September 9th, 2021, TikToker [4] jiafei.queen posted a video that received roughly 2.9 million plays and 314,100 likes in ten months (shown below, right).
The Jiafei meme started in May 2021, when automated bot accounts appeared on TikTok that all used the same picture of Jiafei for their profiles. The similar bot accounts also used similar usernames, predominantly including the imaginary name Jiafei. In Ranvision's second part, Ranvision provided additional context regarding Jiafei, substantiating his claims by showcasing her TikTok account as evidence of her identity. I don’t have Reddit nor will I ever use it again) because they assumed Jiafei’s products secretly consisted of Newgepossygrowtoxin, or Newgen Growth Toxin, which creates a virus whereas the H2HOE becomes infested with a Pooja purple tint and a Newgen icon instantly grows from thin air once the toxin is released. Of course, none of the info was true but suspicions are still roaming the air. Decals in Roblox are custom images uploaded by the community to the game’s servers. You can then spray paint them around Roblox experiences and decorate the world. A decal can include any custom image, ranging anywhere from memes and anime-inspired content to other user-generated art. However, each image must meet the strict community guidelines put in place by Roblox and shouldn’t be provocative or inappropriate. On 10 November 2023, Jiafei teased new music on her official Spotify Account, which signalled a new era for her, and her music. on October 26th, the TikTok [2] account @jiafei.dai shared an English-captioned version of the original video (shown below, left), in which Dai says she only found out about the memes in June 2023, after a friend told her. The post amassed over 971,000 plays and 97,000 likes in two weeks. A TikTok wherein a woman is cooking with an umbrella and screams as fire bursts from the pan onto her face went viral in mid-2021 from Jeifei accounts that shared it. An early example was uploaded on May 11th, 2021 by the TikTok [6] account advertisment79, earning roughly 7,600 plays and over 800 likes in 12 months (shown below, left). The scream emitted by the woman became known as the "Jiafei Scream" and was remixed into more sounds continuing into 2021. For instance, on September 15th, 2021, TikToker [7] jiafeingsproducts remixed the scream into a sped-up version, earning roughly 196,800 plays and 10,400 likes in ten months (shown below, right). For instance, on March 8th, 2022, TikToker [7] @4lubb posted a video that proclaimed that the "Flops survived" and referenced the memes Pussy Tight, Pussy Clean, Pussy Fresh and Another Day, Another Slay.
