Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon (known as "Ciri", from the name Zireael in Elder Speech (meaning "Swallow"; Polish: Jaskółka)), also known as the Lion Cub of Cintra, Child of the Elder Blood, Falka, and the Lady of Time and Space. His plan succeeds and the two ride off with the Rats. s for the story itself, it gets more political in this one which is not bad but I think one of the best parts of the Witcher is his side quests that we saw in the anthologies and that should have been more included in the main series. A fight ensues, in which Geralt is defeated and severely wounded. Vilgefortz enters the Tower but Ciri escapes through an unstable magic portal, releasing a flare of energy that collapses the Tower and leaves Vilgefortz's face scarred. Tissaia, realizing her mistake and, along with Triss Merigold's help, takes Geralt to safety, before committing suicide. I was warned about the translation in this book but I honestly did not sense a big difference between this one and the previous books. There were certainly lines that could have been more polished but it did not take from my enjoyment of the story.
