That player or the Bank keeps the Title Deed you tried to steal AND the Title Deed you tried to swap for it. Note that you can only hold one card at a time, so if you draw another one to keep, you need to discard your old card first if you wish to keep the new one. If you can't prove that you're innocent, the other players must decide if you cheated, and who deserves a penalty. As you read these rules, you'll also notice that there's no mortgaging and there aren't any Houses, just Hotels, because cheaters like to start at the top.
