The MagnetoSpeed V3 ballistic chronograph kit was designed to be used on barrels and suppressors from 1/2 inch all the way up to 2 inches in diameter. In addition to the larger diameter tolerance, the V3 also has one inch more clearance in the blast zone to account for longer (up to 3″ in most cases) muzzle brakes, flash hiders, etc.

With the LabRadar, you get a string of data per shot, 5 user pre-set distances out to 99 yards. So you get much more information than just the muzzle velocity. NOTES:

The unit itself is compact and easy to transport in the carry case provided. Once setup at the bench and from the first shot fired the data populated. The data that is given can be stored in the onboard SD card or you can simply write down the readings or type them into your phone. I keep a notes section on my phone for my load development DOPE so it was easy to add the readings into that. I mean really, it’s a fairly niche case that you need hard data on the exact speed of your bullets. If you want a more sure way of triggering it, you’ll need an external mic. These can be worked around depending on the firearm you’re using, many high end precision rifle chassis have rod attachments you can get to mount the Magnetospeed to them to keep them off your barrel. The MagnetoSpeed V3 Off Barrel Mount allows the use of the MagnetoSpeed V3 Chronograph bayonet without affecting barrel harmonics. Attach the unit directly to your chassis and extend the bayonet to your muzzle. With component prices on the rise, save time and money by being able to zero your rifle and get accurate speeds at the same time without effects to your point of impact.
