About this deal

Bungled Suicide: In the real world, the Judge was a student who was bullied by another classmate of his into hanging himself. The Hero wishes to avoid responsibility and live out his days as a comic book character he admired, slaying aliens and having hot women fawn over him. I kind of have a bit of difficulty explaining why they aren't "official" (according to MAL guidelines), but in very simple terms, it's due to the fact that Creative Entertainment solely publishes series in electronic form (e-books). The story is rich in symbolism and literary references, particularly to Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.

I have to recommend this manga because not only does it have amazing artwork, but because it has an amazing story concept, and a premise that could be just as amazing as Attack on Titan. You'll know what I mean if you read it, but there's a lot going on in a few chapters, and it's charming enough to be enjoyed for what it is on the surface, but the deeper themes make it a much more complex and scary story. starts out with one of the most intense and beautiful panel sequences I've ever seen (in chapter seven).Flashback B-Plot: For the first few chapters, we get glimpses into what Alice was doing before she had entered Serpent's manor/book.

L'histoire est plaisante et se suit facilement même si perso je n'adhère pas au scénario final, déroutant. Alice was the one that broke out, and as the original Book of Truth, she also has a slightly serpentine form.

And even as I started to notice some signs of antisocial disregard for other people and cruelty (such as in chapter 6), which created a sense of dissonance with that "innocent" label, I wasn't sure exactly how to interpret it and largely just let it flow over me. Driven by her obsessive pursuit of knowledge and escape, she embarks on a journey through 430 rooms, each a page torn from the dreams and regrets of past guests.

The "symptoms" displayed by the bibliomaniacs in Dibdin's work include "an obsession with uncut copies, fine paper or vellum pages, unique copies, first editions, blackletter books, illustrated copies, association copies, and condemned or suppressed works". There, she is greeted by Serpent, the head of the manor, who proceeds to tells Alice that as long as she is in her room, every wish and desire that she had would be granted instantly. This story goes more in depth with the book, the effects the book had in politics, on humanity, and the main character. The protagonist, Alice, wakes up in Room 431 of a mysterious manor and is warned by the Serpent not to leave. The Man Who Loved Books Too Much: The True Story of a Thief, a Detective, and a World of Literary Obsession. I'm not too knowledgeable on this stuff but MU lists it under the Creative Entertainment publisher, are they not "official"?The most interesting part about the original is the incomprehensibility of it all but this one explain everything in one neat little package. And by "party", we mean "all of the manor's occupants would be merged with Serpent into a powerful being that would wreak havoc on the world".
