Now an established symbol of luxury, its rich character is enhanced by a distinctive decanter designed in 1947.

Made using a blend of eaux-de-vie that are between four and 15 years old, and mostly matured in seasoned French oak barrels, it finds the perfect balance between character and smoothness. Hennessy has strong family traditions and relationships, and when Richard’s son James, appointed Jean Fillioux as master blender he started a relationship that has seen a member of the Fillioux family hold the position of master blender right through to the current, a legacy of over 250 years and 8 generations.
