As fan of Pirate movies and Pirate treasure maps I was very excited to get the One Eyed Willy's Map from The Goonies. The last known sighting of the fabled pirate One Eyed Willy was centuries ago as he and his crew were sealed in a cave, after a war between the British and the pirate ship the Inferno. The decision was then made to cast this piece in metal and finish with a proper patina, befitting of a relic of its age and origin. And you probably discovered that this is hard to control as half your map burned away before you could stop it! Mikey finds the framed map and hands it to Chunk, knowing that his clumsy friend will eventually break the frame, like he does with most things he touches.

Dating back to the 17th century, One-Eyed Willy's map comes paired with a doubloon, meant to be used in conjunction with Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach. For example, the original prop shows "Cince veces seis" (five times six) but Mouth says "Diez veces diez; ten times ten". But when we see it again in the kitchen a few minutes later it looks much cleaner, without the ink splatters and extra text; even the tears in the middle are in different positions.
