About this deal

So, here are my thoughts and pictures using the product and whether it beats what we’ve got here in the UK. Simply combine the activator (part A) and remover (part B), massage the product into your hair for the required time and then rinse off to remove the hair dye. It went lighter than my natural colour but I guess that was doe to the ammonia on the red colour I had been using. Worked better then expectedI'm actually surprised this worked, I was very skeptical about using this at first as I've tried Scott Cornwells one before which took absolutely no colour out of my hair .

I DID use the buffer solution, but as I have quite long hair and I think I could have used more (for example, I used two boxes of the colour remover in one go to remove the colour, but only one bottle of buffer). No worries: Superdrug’s Colour Rewind Hair Colour Remover is an ammonia-free formula that strips back any unwanted colour to bring your natural shade back through. I still can't figure out where the red went, it vanished and I still smell like I'm wearing omelette cologne.I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone going through a hair crisis and hoping to remove a darker colour from their hair, or remove years of colour build up in preparation for recolouring. Very important to remember also that if your hair has been prelightened in the last couple of years it will take i .

New from the UK, JoBaz Hair Colour Remover is a simple and effective home treatment especially formulated to reverse an undesirable hair colour application or simply if you want to change your look. My hair does have a bit of the smell left two days later but the empty packet {which I had tossed in the bathroom bin} stunk out the whole room for a few days, so get rid of all the empty bits asap. My hair ended up like straw but that is to be expected after using these types of products on a mature person's hair. Its unique formula protects hair lipid levels and retains hair condition, which means you can even use it twice to lift very dark shades in one go.Left my hair feeling awfulThe product worked and lifted all the red hair dye I had on my hair which was unwanted, left my hair with a gingery copper tone, and an odour, which I used coconut oil and helped out well.

Unwanted Food or Drink Products - Once supply conditions are broken, there are a number of factors outside of our control that can affect the quality of a product. So I used this product to remove the black and create a balayage effect with highlights by applying in it with a brush in layers and over 3 times. Imagine my surprise when, after applying a permanent red dye a week later, I lift the shower cap off my head to see that my hair has reverted back to black! It does smell when it goes on, but I used the buffer an extra time as I have thick hair and it doesn't have an after smell at all (I have smelt awful using removers in the past) I had red with a dark dye over the top and it has done a great job of taking me to a slightly brassy tone which I will tone with a toner or some purple shampoo. So important, it was a costly mistake for me as I had to make a mad dash to the chemist to try and find a black dye to cover my hot red roots! So word of warning: if you have thick, long hair like mine and you use two boxes at a time, make sure you use the buffer in BOTH boxes. I won’t go through all the instructions, because they come with the product and are pretty easy to follow. The hairs condition was a little dryer than after using the other products too, but not in a horrific way.

Once you've done that, you'll want to wrap your hair in some sort of plastic to conserve heat (allowing the mixture to develop faster).Used the Max Strength, did take all the dark purple out, but left with very very dried out orange hair! It faded and so I put a light brown hair dye over the top for some reason thinking my hair would be the light brown sha . I highly recommend rinsing for way, waaaaaaay longer than the recommended time, if you have a lot of colour build up like I did the colour molecules will re-expand over a short time and you’ll be back to black, I used 3 over the space of a few days and got good results but within a month it looked like I had done nothing to my hair, it was back to really dark brown. You may also want to use a deep conditioning treatment or a protein filler to strengthen your hair and prepare it for re-colouring. I rinsed for 10 mins and thought I'd see red all over my shower like a crime scene but there was no colour anywhere and more importantly none in my hair!
