Monopoly Junior is a simplified version of the board game Monopoly, designed for young children, which was originally released in 1990. We were so pleased to find this excellent article which gave very clear and easy to follow instructions.

Monopoly name and character, as well as each of the distinctive elements of the board and playing pieces are trademarks of Hasbro for its property trading game and game equipment.The board became more reminiscent of the standard Monopoly board, replacing the "Rest Rooms" (or "Café", depending on the version of the board) with "Jail" and "Uncle Pennybag's Loose Change" with "Free Parking". It is designed to help young children learn how to count and do basic arithmetic, although the game is a blast for players of all ages. The banker can play if they’d like to so long as they keep the bank money separate from their own cash. If multiple players are still in the game, everyone counts their money and the player with the most cash is the winner.
