About this deal

It has pretty much every song you've heard in the past 4 months or so (except Will Young, Gareth and the Darkness). An extra bonus was The Black eyed Peas - also on the cds, which I now regularly dance to( the only exercise I do) -h ave to wait until my neighbours have left for work so I can blast it out.

A much colder theme than the previous summer volume, this one characterises the snowflakes and ice that would hit the country hard that year. If an internal link led you here, you may wish to change the link to point directly to the intended article.

The only other performer to get a Hollywood star at her age was Little House on the Prairie actress Melissa Gilbert. Rachel Stevens (I am obsessed with Rachel's solo career more than is probably healthy, but singles like this were why. Westlife – Hey Whatever (Westlife seemed to appear from time to time, but I think they probably got a special deal to have Uptown Girl on Now 50 and then the licensing issues were resolved by the next time they appeared. My other favourites include Where Is The Love, Sweet Dreams My LA Ex, Slow, Crazy In Love, Hole In The Head, Superstar, Pretty Green Eyes, Mixed Up World, Something Beautiful (I know people don't have a lot of time for this but it's got a quirky singalong charm. Next we come upon Amy Studt, which I'm not sure if this song is even considered a hit, and Texas, see Amy Studt.

The only bad part is that some of the songs on here could have been updated by newer, more recent hits. Other Facts: This volume coincides with the 20th anniversary of the series (10th December 1983) when the first volume was released. His song I Can't Stop Loving You, has been recorded by over 700 artists, most notably by Ray Charles in 1962. It’s fairly standard Justin Timberlake, with a danceable beat and irritating falsetto all over the place. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. The endnote is Daniel Bedingfield's Never Gonna Leave Your Side, which is a heartfelt ballad and that Mad World remake. So here we have stinkers (Sophie Ellis-Bextor, DSide, Phixx) and some pretty good stompers (S Club 8, Emma, Ultrabeat, Louise) and then the OK crowd (Girls Aloud, Atomic Kitten).

Michael had failed in his court wrangle with Sony after accusing it of "professional slavery"; his contract was bought out by Virgin Records. Slow, melancholy cover of the Tears For Fears classic, and the Christmas number one for 2003 (BUT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE DARKNESS AND I’M STILL ANGRY ABOUT THAT ahem). Blue's Guilty is behind there and then some hip hop stuff is thrown in there, of course the good (Beyonce, Jamelia, Lumidee, Sugababes) and the not so good (Fatman Scoop, Liberty X, Javine). or Now 56 was released on November 17, 2003 on audio cassette and 2CD, The album is the 56th edition of the Now series in the United Kingdom. Richard X is such an excellent producer, him and William Orbit are my favourites of the early 00s for creating sounds that really stood out in the chart in the best kind of way. Really strong volume with very little filler - and a lot of my favourite pop singles of the decade on it to boot. Jay-Z - Crazy In Love (the song that got me into Beyonce as a solo artist full I would say I mean Work It Out was good and all but this was the OMG moment for sure.

Justin Timberlake - Rock Your Body: Great disco inspired track, though it should have been on Now 55 as it was a hit in May/June. It was just a couple of weeks after the release of this volume that we reached the 20th anniversary of the series since the very first volume back in 1983. I haven't played myself for 20+ years but the tone of the guitar was so sweet and the action so easy to play that I couldn't resist. In fact the latter was my favourite song of 2003 not by Delta Goodrem, such a sorely underrated track that I wish had stayed in the charts a little longer. There are only two Nickelback tracks that are in any way listenable, and both of those are due to reasons outwith the song. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Tracks with an asterisk (*) next to their title have also been included in special releases from the series. by the Black Eyed Peas, "Slow" by Kylie, "Be Faithful" by Fatman Scoop and "Crazy in Love" by Beyoncé.
