The botanicals are steeped overnight before the spirit is blended with water from the Lake District National Park. We infuse our unique botanical blend in the finest British wheat spirit and the purest water drawn from our Lake District National Park home in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All our products are handcrafted with love and care at our premises on the outskirts of Kendal in the English Lake District. Even if we are not at fault and you do not have a right to change your mind, you can still end the contract before it is completed, but you may have to pay us compensation.They elevate flavour by using only a select few botanicals, gently infusing them in the finest British wheat spirit, distilling in their traditional copper pot still and only drawing the purest water from their Lake District National Park home in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Juniper can be found across the fells in The Lakes District, this local juniper is used as the very heart of this superb gin. By steeping the botanicals overnight like loose-leaf tea, they interact freely with the warm spirit to encourage the essential oils to release more slowly, protecting their delicate nature. These are juniper, coriander, angelica, orris root, cassia bark, liquorice, bitter orange, sweet orange and lemon peel.

I tried it at first with Fever Tree Mediterranean Light, thinking that an Indian Tonic with quinine would overpower it. With a variety of carefully selected grapefruit, Spanish orange and lemon peel added to the distillation, this citrus forward gin is certain to uplift your tastebuds. The nine botanicals are macerated (steeped) in warm wheat spirit overnight, allowing the essential oils to be delicately released. The distillery is open all year - Monday to Sunday - with tours running regularly throughout each day.
