Many people love to melt their chocolate in a microwave and if that works for you, it's perfectly fine.

This much loved, deeply dippy snack treat comprises crunchy biscuit sticks with a smooth white chocolate sauce to dip them in.Do not melt the chocolate in the microwave, it might be quicker, but you will not get the same smooth consistency like you do if you choose to melt it slowly in a pan set over a simmering pot. My guess would be that it should work just fine – and, in fact, various milks like coconut milk and oat milk might lend some lovely little flavor notes to the final chocolate dip. I haven’t tried keeping it in a crockpot, since it’s still lovely at room temperature, but here’s what I’d recommend if you want to try it: Be sure to use the “keep warm” setting (not “low”) and stir the Chocolate Dip often to be sure it’s not scorching on any “hot spot” areas of the slow cooker. I just used this melting process in the Foodi with chocolate almond bark (what I use to make chocolate covered pretzels every year) but it worked like a charm!
