The weather-proof fabric map of the Gower coast in South Wales with Llanelli at its centre is designed for outdoor adventures and uses Ordnance Survey’s famous Landranger 1:50k scale style, featuring contours, the OS national grid, rights of way and all the fine tourism detail you’d expect. To celebrate the Millennium, the Gower Society planned a symbolic link across the area covered by the ancient lordship of Gower between Penlle'r Castell in the north-east and Rhossili in the far south-west of the peninsula.

The Wales Coast Path runs around the coastline, taking in the dramatic cliffs and coves of the south, and the quieter saltmarshes of the north. Around the headland, past the pier and The Mumbles (tidal islands) are 2 small coves, Bracelet Bay and Limeslade Bay, and an Italian seafront cafe (only restaurant part has sea views). The first two beaches you hit on the way out of Mumbles onto Gower are also the easiest with small children.
