About this deal

It can be used with adapters to fit a the Joie car seat or carrycot, but as Pearl is 10 months now we’ve not needed to use this option. With two kiddies I have been reluctant to change the pram to a buggy, because I like the storage space, the parent-facing, big fleecy seat and - most of all - the buggy-board. It’s a nice idea if you’re on the nursery run before work and don’t want to scuff your nice polished shoes, but I can’t say that I noticed any difference.

The front wheels (foam-filled) have a swivel lock and are much smaller than the back (air-filled) wheels.

They also felt very grippy – so although we haven’t experienced any ice or snow as yet I’d be pretty confident that it would handle winter weather well. The one thing I would recommend changing is the rain cover, as it seems quite fiddly when trying to put it on and off the pram. The large wheels mean my son sits in a comfortable, high-up position giving him a good view of the big wide world, which in turn keeps him distracted and entertained.

In terms of making my life easier, I find getting in and out of the car is much quicker and easier, as it is easy to unfold and light to manoeuvre – I no longer dread using the pushchair!

The rain cover was also very easy to attach with top to bottom coverage and plenty of strong velcro straps that kept it in place even in the strongest of winds.

Katie: One of the main things I liked about this pushchair was how stylish and understated it looked. The Joie itself is a very nice pushchair, we have the Pavement variant and couldn't have chosen better - the colour is exactly what I expected it to be - a lovely rich dark grey. This combination pram pushchair blends all of the best features available into a system with multi modes for your little one.The extending handle would make this suitable and comfortable to use for people of differing heights. They are easily pulled forward and baby Molly ended up having much longer naps in the day time because of it! After adjusting the straps and checking he was fine in it every two minutes, I was happy to see how comfortable he seemed – he even fell asleep in the pushchair on our walk, which is quite rare for him. The Joie MyTrax provides comfort and support to your baby, allowing you to seat them in the perfect position for fun filled adventures.

I also found that once the seat was reclined it was rather hard to reach anything from the back of the baggy but you do have side access – so that is something to bear in mind when packing things away. There’s nothing worse than jolting your child down to lie flat with those fiddly toggles that have to be pulled and pushed to get the seat in the right position. Your little passenger will be seated snugly in the lap of luxury as they glide over every pothole or puddle. The first thing I noticed about the Joie Mytrax is just how sleek and stylish it looks for a stroller. The Joie Mytrax can be used from birth to a max weight of 15kgs, so we will get plenty of use out of it yet and Violet would still be within the weight limit too.
