About this deal

Activate the Last by pushing the button on the front (There’s only one button and it has a bolt-on it). So, whether you are using a Reusable or Disposable here are some tips to get the best images out of them: How To Get The Best From Your Reusable Film Camera. You get 39 exposures so is perfect for travel, school trips, adventures, parties, graduations, wedding tables etc.

It seems, like with most film camera (and my experience too) that bad results from back in the day were as a result of lousy processing and printing. You also need to reset the film counter to the number of exposures on the film, you won’t be able to do this after you have loaded the film as it will be inside the closed body. My dad was a career Kodak guy (long-retired), and last time we tried a Fun Saver, the results were disappointing. Disposable cameras are all about simplicity and a carefree shooting experience, and the Kodak FunSaver brings those two traits admirably without any complication. The photos look a little like the film may have been outdated, the colors seem to have a yellowish/or light tan tint to them. The Kodak FunSaver 35mm Single Use Camera - 27 Exposures is more than just a camera; it's a gateway to preserving moments that define life. This wasn’t by choice; the FunSaver was just about the only camera that could be safely handled and operated (and dropped) by a hyperactive six-year-old. It’s made for non-photographers, vacationers, first-time film shooters, and even experienced shooters looking to simplify their kit.

Color and contrast are pretty good, especially considering it’s a single-use camera with a small, plastic lens. This model comes with a flash, and apparently replaced the Kodak HD Power Flash model a few years ago, so I’m updating Kodak’s primary single use camera. The Brownie was a runaway success, and judging by the persistent ubiquity of the FunSaver, selling strongly from the 1990s all the way to the present day, Kodak used the knowledge gained from the Brownie very well. The film is already loaded, all you do is advance the film via thumb wheel until it won’t turn anymore, then simple look through the viewfinder and take a snap.

The additive type shot counter is dead center, and the oval gray button on the right actuates the shutter. When I worked in a lab I always had a fresh supply of AA batteries as we took them out of these cameras. You can get 27 images on any roll of 24 as long as you can load the camera yourself in the dark and do not have to advance it to the first shot mark; however, with motorized auto loading cameras, you probably won’t get any more than 25. The FunSaver could fairly be considered as a spiritual successor to the OG consumer camera, the Kodak Brownie. The camera is limited to a single shutter speed of 1/100th of a second, loaded up with Kodak 800 speed film, exposed through a fixed focus 30mm f/10 lens.

The Kodak FunSaver is like all single-use cameras with a simple plastic lens, manual film advance, and 27 exposures. All things considered, the Kodak FunSaver single use camera really is fun, and puts out decent photo quality, especially if you scan the negatives yourself with a good dedicated film scanner. The camera is also equipped with a built-in flash, so you can take the best photos even in less light.

For quite a few shots I tried to shade the lens from the sun using my hand, but as you see, the lens captured what the viewfinder did not. com is a trading name of Jessops Europe Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 08384909.
