Lolita Lempicka Homme cologne combines the label’s signature liquorice with masculine cedar, musk, and rum. Its opening notes include bellini, pepper, mandarin, lemon, lime, orange, and grapefruit, leading into a heart of peach, plum, and blackcurrants, adorned with floral notes. this is the first perfume i ever bought - it was a christmas present for my mom: i was still in grade school, probably 8 or 9 years old. I finally just acquired a sample, and I can say that my fantasy of the fragrance has led me to become disappointed by the scent. Spray it twice on the left and right side of your neck and wrists, then you'll be good until you decide to re-apply in the next few hours once it becomes one with your skin chemistry.

I loved the scent at first, but the longer I had the bottle it seems that the licorice and anise notes got more pronounced to the point of giving me migraines even when I use small amount, also I realized that the licorice and anise are the notes in this that I like the least- I liked cherry, vanilla and almond as well as the dry vetiver note and powdery iris. Mirroring my own misjudgment to see if I’d come back, if I was able to get off that high horse and revise my observations.It's very likeable, but I guess I expected something more mysterious and complex, at least based on some of the reviews.

As an elder millennial, it's very nostalgic for me because it was the absolute rage in the 2006-2008 era. Lolita Lempicka fragrances transport you to a unique fairy tale atmosphere, from fresh florals to intoxicating oriental harmonies. I first smelled this when I was just getting into fragrance for the first time, and to my untrained nose, it was ultimately pleasant but nothing more than an opaque yet powdery cherry. There's not much in it, but it is enough to notice a difference, in fact I actually find the Midnight Couture version slightly closer to the original than Le Premier Parfum. She was big and tall, and walked very funny (I guess her love for 70s block heels and other sex worker white boots only accentuated her bad posture).This seems to work because it also includes the powdery violet and iris, and some herbs and spice from the star anise, licorice and ivy.
