So I was surprised when, after my Majestic Woody Intense purchase was already bagged and in hand, he sprayed a new blotter paper with Madawi, giving me a rather colorful description of the scent as one that is meant for fancier types of occasions where it would turn heads and inspire the envy of celebrity types. The scent itself is so heavy for my taste, I really appreciate it, there are no doubts about the quality of this composition, it is elegant and well-done, but sometimes it could be something overwhelming to go for since I'm not really into peaches! That sensual fruity musk, with a touch of sweet oud and barely perceptible patchouli, lingers for days. Reminds me of Tobacco and Vanille by Tom ford without the vanilla… The floral smell comes later to me and then makes up most of the scent.

Usually, pineapple could instantly make a perfume smell cheap (I don't even like Aventus), though this one feels majestic. The mysterious and enchanting oud takes center stage, accompanied by woody cedar and earthy patchouli. All names and copyrights, used or unused, are properties of their respective manufacturers and/or designers. I needn't of worried, where erba pura is loud and playful and Tabit can be a bit too sweet, madawi oozes sophistication with the extra depth in the dry down. It’s very well made, potent, super long lasting and high quality (the oily sheen it leaves on my skin is impressive).
