About this deal

As you can see, the shorter GPU mounting bracket would go here if you move the whole mounting plate over. Out of the box, the large mesh panels allow for outstanding airflow, which can be enhanced by installing two 120/140mm fans in the front. Most people will likely either want to install a front radiator (which will come with a pair of fans on its own) or use specific fans, be they RGB or, say, quiet and efficient Noctua spinners. Above that, things look pretty traditional around the motherboard mounting area with the long support beam pre-installed out of the box. The Meshlicious is the first PC case manufactured by Ssupd (Sunny Side Up Design), a new joint venture between Lian Li and NCASE.

Out of the box, the large mesh panels allow for outstanding airflow, which can be enhanced by installing two 120mm or 140mm fans in the front. With the Meshlicious, Lian Li sister Ssupd (Sunny Side Up Design), in collaboration with Ncase, presents an exceptionally small mini-ITX housing, the front, lid and one side of which are made entirely of fine-meshed grids and thus offer an almost unhindered air supply.Inside the case, I configured the two 120mm fans for the AIO as intakes, and placed the mesh panel on the graphics card side of the enclosure. I actually could have hidden them better with an ATX PSU as it would have covered the visible space beneath the motherboard. inches, the Meshlicious is similar in size to the Jonsbo A4 case we used for the RGBaby build last year (the A4 is 13. It would have been nice if Ssupd had included at least one fan to mount in the front, but I can also see why the company didn’t. As a result, accessing them much is easier compared to when the I/O is on the bottom, and it looks neater than when they’re mounted to the top.

I did consider cutting and painting an L shaped piece of acrylic to conceal the cables where they are visible around the power supply, but I didn’t think such a mod would be an accurate representation of the case for a review. Just as small cases like this involve tradeoffs in terms of component support, a mesh-covered case is going to trade some noise for better thermal dissipation. These cookies help provide information on metrics the number of visitors, bounce rate, traffic source, etc. As I had never reviewed an ITX case before, and didn’t have a pre-existing test system for such an occasion, I took measurements with the equipment I used on an open bench, then inside the Meshlicious. These 4 or 5-star reviews represent the opinions of the individuals who posted them and do not reflect the views of Etsy. The GPU delta T was far better, thanks to the lone mesh panel on that side – only the Fractal Design Torrent Nano with an additional 120mm fan was significantly cooler. Also included is an angled HDMI cable, which you’ll need if using a full-size graphics card, as the Graphics card ports are at the bottom in this layout. Due to the GPU layout which places the PCI-E bracket toward the bottom of the case, you will most likely need to use a display cable with a 90-degree angled connector.

But for that you’ll need remove the PSU, or install it and connect the cables before installing the power supply.Speaking of the top ports, things are fairly minimal (like the rest of the case’s design), with one USB 3 Type-A port and one Type-C.
