Especially when she would resort to making a scene in public by yelling and stomping her feet before stomping away. This book follows Liv, a very sweet omega, Dean, an alpha she’s been in love with since she was young, Grayson, a big teddy bear alpha, and River, a mischievous beta. Damon, Minos, and Aaecus- the three heads of the monster Cerberus- have never met a human like Ashley. He’s found fame as an invincible and fireproof stuntman in the local film industry, but recently his efforts to quell his dragon desires have been difficult.

I think the biggest disappointment for me on the audiobook side was I personally had a hard time distinguishing the character voicing between Dean and Grayson‘s chapters. There were just a few things that I wish we got more of that stopped this from being a five star read. Nora Hart is twenty-four years old and has already lost more than she thought she could handle, rebuilt her life more than once and has done this whilst managing to avoid everything about the shifter world.Now her descendants and those of her supporters must serve as Wardens to help protect witch-kind, though we’re relegated to being second best and the first ones thrown into danger. Part OneVera Hastings resents her designation as an Omega and has spent most of her life fighting against the things that come along with it. Liv, the main character, is my absolutely favourite type of FMC - slightly unhinged, totally badass, and determined to get what she wants.

The writing is very disjointed and the flow of the story feels stiff and overly formal in odd places. For starters, my dear friend Sarah wrote it, and I got the privilege to be the first person to fall in love with Liv, River, Grayson and Dean.River is the best and I don’t care what that says about my mental health but Daddy Grayson and Swoony Dean with Liv’s quirky optimism make this my ALL TIME favorite pack. Too bad his younger omega brother has handed a key to that lake house to a friend who needs to cycle off his heat-blocking drugs. Liv’s obsession with him only grew when she perfumed as an Omega and his Alpha scent became her own personal addiction. I do recommend you read Heat Haven prior to this because it introduces you to how Sarah’s omegaverse runs and also you get to see a hilarious Easter egg in this book (which you would otherwise miss). Our main FMC Liv has been in love with her brothers bestfriend Dean who friend-zones her at every turn.

She never tells him and despite him wanting to know and asking every once in a while up until that point, he suddenly stops. But instead, I fall into the path of the impossibly beautiful, wealthy, and influential Knight pack, during my first heat. My family is certain I’ll settle with a boring, law-abiding pack before I graduate from Omega University, but I have other plans. Alpha and Beta shifters can become feral when congregated in large numbers without an Omega’s calming influence.I love how the FMC takes little trinkets from the guys and how the guys secretly know and love it, was actually such a cute addition !

Me and omegaverse are like this 🤝🏾 so I was super excited to read this bad boy and it did not disappoint. My nails drag along the bark of the tree, looking for purchase as his pace increases and he gives me everything he has. He heads up to the little-used family lake house, hoping it’s enough distance between him and a cheating ex.Here, the FMC is also starved for emotional connection, we have triple the MMCs and they all want to care for and protect her (I can’t pick a favorite… ok, it’s Viking Daddy Grayson), and there’s some melodrama in there for good measure as well. But when the black-market pills I bought fail one night, I find myself living my worst nightmare—perfuming in a crowded club full of Alphas. Handsome and mysterious, he swoops in to offer me a new life, but this is no knight in shining armor.
