It’s a fairly built-up, brash beach town where direct flights once brought package tourists from all over Europe to frolic in all-inclusives, leaving only to visit water parks rising out of the vast desert like mirages.There were a few issues, but they didn't spoil my enjoyment of the trip: a long wait for the transfer from the airport, a rush to get the final snorkeling session in and one meal which wasn't suitable for the vegetarians in our group.
