About this deal

Positive is that even though it is apocalyptic, the main character is "trying everything he can to change the future" or at least like the title of the book (reduce the damage of the apocalypse). If the user also has the Skill The Chosen Weapon, this weapon will be incorporated into the user’s new form. He gathers a group of people who can help him achieve his goal even though he cannot tell them that he is from the future, the future which unless stopped was dire indeed.

The user may also now choose how the blades are spread, it is not necessary for them to be evenly spaced. In an apocalypse, the last thing a "free-person" will think of is filing the right forms, paying your taxes or being good to "Uncle-Sam".They are completely bland and half of the cast is better off sipping coffee in the background and not interrupting interesting bits.

In most of these stories the MC goes back and utilizes all the cheats, hacks, and knowledge from another timeline to become strong enough to prevent the looming disaster. This is a pre-apocalyptic, time travelling LitRPG and the first book in a new series which is filled with non-stop action, and heroism as one man takes a stand to save humanity.Usually when the sh*t hits the fan (in an apocalypse) people don't care anymore, they do whatever they want, and the stories/books/genres reflect that. This system gives each person the "opportunity and free will" to become powerful and save themselves or lose themselves and the people around them. In this story there are several things that do come across as shoehorned or there just to make people know how the author feels on the topic.

This is the Champion of Mankind, humanity’s shield, and the vanguard of their march into a brighter future. And now, it has reached the pinnacle of its power, allowing the user to grow progressively harder to see the longer they go without rapid movements, to the point where it will take several seconds to spot them even when using obvious and highly visible long-range attacks.

This book has potential, and I'll read the next one, but the ending was one of the worst "non-endings" I've read and the use of brackets was more distracting than typical System books.

Lastly, it gains vastly enhanced Privacy penetration abilities and further grows as the user’s Perception increases.

After countless battles where the user has used this Skill to destroy foes that thought they were safe due to being out of range, this Skill has evolved to grant him even a greater reach. As you know the trope isn't very original but for me the fun comes from the progression to op status and the fights (or if I'm really lucky I could get really interesting and diverse character interactions). Like he keeps acting as if it's already illegal when there is no law saying that they can't summon and kill monsters. And now, it has reached the pinnacle of its power, granting its user the ability to teach all basic Strike, Blow, Shot, Armor, and military discipline Skills to their trainees. I'm just so bummed, I love this going back in time to help stop humanity from getting wiped out premise and it's just wasted by this numb nuts MC.
