In the mid of King, I noticed a fair amount of oud, but in a complimentary role as it still sits behind the fruits and vanilla.

Then the smell I think is very linear; the citrus part fades away pretty quickly, then the fruity part smells a little bit “plasticous”, and finally the dry down is very sweet, I wouldn’t say like a gourmandish vainilla, instead it’s a very plain sweetness without any depth or nuances. The drydown is barely even worth mentioning because it's a skin scent after half an hour and near undetectable after 1 hour. Shortly into the Mid the Pear,Vanilla and Musk take center stage and this mid stage lasts for a good 4-6 hours.Another point to consider is I washed the same shirt and it lingered on the fabric long after I sprayed. Something about spraying more than once in the same spot accentuates the power of the Oud note in it, taking it from subtle to overpowering. Well now 2 months later it has smoothed out quite a bit and I don't pick that note up like I had (sadly), but it is still amazing. At the heart are hints from fruity notes, while the base consists of notes from white musk, vanilla and amber.

I wouldn't dare wear this before work and I'd say it's even questionable for dates based on projection. However, this fragrance lasts longer (by about 4 hours) and has an opening of Mandarin Orange and Musk instead of directly opening with the Pear and Vanilla. I believe that the modifications to the original "Erba Pura" formula by "Bharara Beauty" has extended the potency, lifespan/longevity and beautified the scent profile of this fragrance and IMPROVED on the age old formula. you must test on someone to really see how it performs in my honest opinion anyway I bought a back up bottle as I love it!
