A European edition titled Bishi Bashi Special was released in 2000 and compiles Bishi Bashi Special 1 and 2 on one disc, retitled Super Bishi Bashi and Hyper Bishi Bashi. When played by yourself, Bishi Bashi can seem like a boring and shallow experience but add a few more people and you'll discover the greatness of this game.

In Japanese-exclusive Salaryman Champ, the three players are represented by three archetypical office workers. Rock–Paper–Scissors: In Judge the Rock/Paper/Scissors Tug-of-war, the player has to spot the winner as quickly as possible. Idiosyncratic Episode Naming: In the earlier releases, the names of the minigames always end in exclamation marks. As is often the case with minigames, Bishi Bashi features very simple controls and easy-to-grasp gameplay mechanics. Big Eater: Quite a few of the minigames involve eating something, usually the more and faster the better.Minigame Game: The main defining feature of the series is that all releases are made of multiple minigames. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. has characters performing various martial arts moves on a cliff, before transforming into superheroes with Stuff Blowing Up in the background. Each game in the compilation contains mini games, some are loosely based around arcade classics such as Breakout ("Car Destroyer) and Pac-Man ("Super Gulper"). Arcade-Perfect Port: The console ports are generally very faithful to the arcade originals, aided by the relatively simple 2D graphics.

Salaryman Champ: Tatakau Salaryman was released in 2001 in Japan only (developed and released by Success).literally starts out as a walk in the park, until the player character starts running into various obstacles, including rolling boulders, missiles and cats. All games in the series comprise playing through a wide variety of competitive minigames against other players.

is an arcade Bishi Bashi game (Konami multiplayer minigame competition game) released on July 29th, 2009 exclusively in Japan. The arcade games support 1 to 6 players and the PlayStation game allows 1 to 3 players; the game will provide computer opponents if there are not enough players. These include eating as much food as you can, catching the pieces of a burger, knocking down bowling pins with cars, shaking a can to see how far up it goes when launched and even shooting men out of a cannon onto the plates of a moving statue! For The★BishiBashi, the Gachaga Champ protagonists were brought back as selectable characters, in addition to a host of other characters that had previously appeared in individual minigames.

Some titles of the series, however, make use of a steering wheel (Handle Champ), two joysticks (Gachaga Champ), or a dance pad (Step Champ) for the purpose of controls instead of the three buttons. Knock down bowling pins as a car, catch burgers which are falling or try and escape a guard disguised as a dustbin, whatever you play is fun and well explained. The content within the Arcade Club Game Library database is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.
