I *did* find a handful of recipes I’d like to try at some point, but nothing jumped into my brain as “I WANT” as much as I expected. Starting with pork patties ensured well browned, crispy bits before breaking them up into smaller pieces. One thing though - I cut it in 1/2 and it still made a mountain of salad to serve 2 of us - I will play with amounts / ratios to get down 1/4 next time.Molly Baz is a New York Times bestselling cookbook author (Cook This Book (2021) More is More (Fall 2023)), recipe developer, and video host whose number one goal in life is to convince the world that cooking is fun, and not that hard to do if you’re properly set up. Learned quite a bit in the intro section prior to the recipes, and inspired to try some of these (I marked down about 10-15 I’d like to try). NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERA thoroughly modern guide to becoming a smarter, faster, more creative cook from Molly Baz, featuring fun, flavourful recipes anyone can make.

Cook This Book' is a new kind of foundational cookbook from Molly Baz, who's here to teach you absolutely everything she knows and equip you with the tools to become a better, less stressed, more efficient cook. Then again, I’ve never been one to be super concerned about what is and isn’t in fashion, so we will continue to eat orzo with abandon. The recipe pages are certainly more parred back than the intros, but the studio still manages to sprinkle a touch of personality – triangular shapes, bold lines and illustrations nod to the typical foray of cookbook publishing.
