The Scout Association’s polo shirts for any Sections are for casual wear on camps and events – NOT for weekly Section meetings and should not hold any badges or replace the official sweatshirt or long sleeve shirt. We do not consider the Scout Association’s navy Activity Trousers as an essential piece of the Uniform and ask members to wear suitable trousers or shorts depending on the conditions as per meeting and activity. However if Parents want to purchase one for camps and events, or any other Scouting item then please do so – some items make great gifts for Birthdays or Christmas. For badges with several levels, such as Chief Scout's Award, Duke of Edinburgh Award, participation awards and staged activity badges, only the highest numbered badge achieved should be worn on the uniform.
