Shian comes to regard Terumi as the big brother she's never had and enjoys hanging out with him as much as she does with Kaoruko. Rokujou bringing him back to his old middle school brings those memories to the surface and sends Terumi into a paralyzing fear induced state. It was published by Shueisha, with serialization in Weekly Young Jump magazine from September 15, 2011, [1] until its conclusion on September 5, 2019. When they become a couple, Terumi makes sure to take it nice and easy with Yuu, out of consideration for her feelings.

It turns out that this is the same in reverse; older women that Terumi interacts with are interested in him. Terumi's relationship with Yuu almost made him decide to quit the Genji project for her sake, but after receiving a job proposal that she couldn't refuse, as well as believing that Terumi had deeper feelings for his aunt, Kaoruko, she is forced to move to Osaka and end the relationship. However, when push comes to shove, Kaoruko demonstrates that she does care for her nephew and wishes him the best in his endeavors. After lamenting the fact that he's weaker than girls, he becomes hell-bent on making himself stronger.

Even reading a fictional entry between cousins in an erotic novel makes her remember about what she went through. Also, it's still a great mystery how Tsukasa's gang was able to torment Terumi in the same classroom on multiple occasions, not just one. The Terumi at the beginning of the manga would have never been able to speak to all the women at the beach.She later does this with Kaoruko, in an attempt to kill Yuu's insecurities and suspicions towards Kaoruko having a relationship with Terumi, though Kaoruko notes that the added bonus was another "indirect" kiss with Terumi. By the end of the series, Terumi has gotten over his fear of her, symbolized when he can drink a bottle of milk with no issue.
