Commander Farsight is in his new XV-86 Supernova battlesuit noticeably bigger than the former Finecast model. Like many others here over the last few days, I was unable to get a Boarding Patrol Box, and am extremely bent out of shape about it. The Eight are the elite war council of the Farsight Enclaves – including O’Shovah himself, of course.

Can either be dropped in comments or in DMs, either is fine, I just really want to try and get one of these boxes. Like these legendary warriors themselves, this army can take on almost anything – and it’s a great candidate for elaborate conversion projects. Even though it can be a pain, personally I’m always happy when you can get models at a discount in an army box.

This powerful assault force contains three Crisis battlesuits and 10 Fire Warriors, accompanied by a small shoal of Drones. Commander Farsight doesn’t just have a book dedicated to him – he’s also got an awesome new model, which is first available in Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire. For those that resist, the T'au are forced to bring to bear their technological might in the form of punishing long-ranged weaponry, high-tech aeroplanes and tanks, and highly adaptable battlesuits. It contains approximately 25 power level's worth of units, making it ideal for Combat Patrol sized games of Warhammer 40,000. As with all Arks of Omen books, Farsight contains additional rules for playing Boarding Actions, adding Enhancements and Stratagems for the T’au Empire, Asuryani and Ynnari, Drukhari, Harlequins, and Adepta Sororitas.

Behind him stomp three sleek XV8 Crisis Battlesuits – the ultimate balance of firepower, speed and resilience – and ten Breachers, Fire Warriors who use close-range, high-powered pulse blasters to clear the confined corridors of a space hulk.
