Care should be taken to avoid the contents of the pipette coming into contact with the eyes or mouth of the animal. Frontline Spot On does not prevent ticks from attaching to the animals, but ticks will be killed in the first 24-48 hours after attachment, before they are fully fed and therefore minimising the risk of transmission of diseases.
