At this stage I'll refer you to the Launchpad S review, since everything I said there applies equally to the Launchpad Mini. Each has selectable MIDI channel, CC, value and colour settings, and widgets can be freely combined as long as they fit within the 8x8 grid.Overall it's a great piece of hardware that can be modified to do just what you want with some tweaking using third party software and inbuilt user modes. Our most compact and portable grid controller gives you everything you need to start performing – and it'll fit in your bag. The Launchpad Mini is nicely designed and finished, and is a good size for desktop or handheld operation. Within these modes you can send out CCs, notes, and even program change messages from the grid to your DAW, whilst also assigning the pads to behanve as momentary switches, on/off toggles, or even as faders (in rows/columns). The up and down buttons navigate scenes, while the circular buttons provide scene launch and the Stop All Clips action.
