About this deal

Drew me sorprendió muchísimo. That’s okay, though, Dr. Andrew. I’ll agree to your terms, move into your house, and act like your girlfriend when the big day comes; but I also plan to make your life miserable—make you pay for what you did to me. Once again I'm never gonna hate anyone who enjoyed this book, it's their choice but I'm just too determined to think that now her books are definitely not for me. I just can't deal with the pettiness and the way the characters are not really adults okay? They're more like children advertised as adults.

The Temporary Roomie: A Romantic Comedy (It Happened in

Drew is a doctor who has mastered the art of hiding his true thoughts and feelings. He lets Jessica – his sister’s best friend – move in to his house, even though she is his arch nemesis. Jessie is starting to make sense to me, and she’s only becoming more beautiful as she comes into focus.” jessie is in serious need of a favor: she needs a place to stay while her house is being fixed. drew is in the same situation: he needs a fake date for an event with his colleagues. roomies and fake dating who hate each other.. what could go wrong? the house becomes a battlefield of pranks that, inevitably, will blur the barriers between hate and love.

This was a good book! I mean it is your typical “I hate him so f* much, let’s do pranks on each other” vibe. But then the vibe is more like “wait, I might actually like him”. But yeah, that is also what I signed up for sooo. It has the pregnancy trope, but not in a bad way. It made the book a little different, so it was nice 💛💛 Full transparency, this is one of those books I shouldn’t have read because I will be unfairly judging it based off the actual basis of the book The banter between the main characters is so good and their pranks are so funny. I love Drew and Jessie so much!!

The Temporary Roomie: A Romantic Comedy: Adams, Sarah

Also, the fact that she was 7 months pregnant, they only met for the first time when she was already pregnant (with someone else’s baby) and it ended up in a perfect HEA all within the span of 3 months… without a serious talk of what jumping into a relationship when she’s prego with someone else’s baby means… idk, bugged me a little. Wanted more in that area altogether.

About Author

While I did hate Drew in the first book, this book did show a nice side to Drew and he was adorable at times. But there was absolutely no chemistry and I honestly couldn't wrap my head around how he dealt with Jessie. And as is with Sarah's books there must just be something she likes about the 'miscommunation trope' :/ Just to say i am really disappointed with this work by her cause i really enjoyed the other books by Sarah! Crossword Bookstores draws book lovers of all ages into a community where they can discover great books, engage with booklovers and meet their favourite literary personalities. Okay I'm gonna repeat myself but please, just please stop showing the characters as enemies.... when one moment they're like "you're my enemy!" And playing silly pranks on each other and the next "Oh I love him". Can I ask ask authors to make the enemies seem more like enemies and not just 'oh you did this? Now I'm gonna hate you' nah that's a misunderstanding... and I find it ironic that she calls Drew 'selfish' but then she is the one who is the 'selfish' one. So many tropes and such great romcom moments keep this funny story from Sarah Adams moving swiftly. It’s the second in a series but works perfectly as a standalone. Underneath all the aggressive feelings, both Drew and Jessie are kind and silly for each other. It’s a fun and slightly ditsy read, perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon ❤️

If you want a laugh out loud, full of fun rom com. Then go no further. You just found the right book for you. Both characters made appearances in The Off Limits Rule and characters from that one make appearances here.

Born and raised in Nashville TN, Sarah Adams loves her family, warm days, and making people smile. Sarah has dreamed of being a writer since she was a girl, but finally wrote her first novel when her daughters were napping and she no longer had any excuses to put it off. No es un mal libro, puede que el problema fuese muy personal porque no soporto a la gente que es así de niña a la edad que tiene y más encima esperando un bebé.

The Temporary Roomie by Sarah Adams | Goodreads

the temporary roomie is another fav read from sarah adams!! ok first of all this book has everything i love:Even if it’s a favorite, the enemies-to-lovers and/or the hate-to-love trope is either a hit or miss for me. This book just proves it’s a HARD miss for me. Excitement. Giddy, happy, excitement. That's what I'm feeling right now. I just had THE MOST FUN reading this new book by Sarah Adams. It's no secret that I love to be entertained when reading and I love when I am left with an emotional high. This book gave me so many smiles, quite a few giggles and all the sizzle of attraction. It was so yummy.
