BTW... this book is kinda ended up in cliffhanger so I mean the real main villain/maybe we called it mastermind is still out there, well I get it since this will be a series. This was a kinky, romantic, suspenseful book! Cole is sooo jealous/possessive over Fallon. She is his perfect counterpart. Regardless of their large age gap, they were made for each other. EDIT 10/14/22- I changed my rating from 4 stars to 5 because I cannot get this book out of my mind. I need more recs like it omg. So good!!! The story is about Fallon and Cole, it has tropes like fathers best friend, age gap, there is a gang, and lots of br33ding.The ending felt rushed and didn’t make a lot of sense. Again, maybe it will make more sense as the series continues, but as it was I felt like there was still a lot left to be said. Cause Cole keeps saying that boy(Anton) is out of their league so why bother to pretend pawn your daughter why just not end that lil shit earlier if that was easy for you.

Beautiful Carnage is what is my heart and I think the author did an amazing job at that. This book was incredible and messed up which is quite similar to how I like it. The parts of this novel were predictable, yet well written and captivating. My only wish was that some of the “hunting/rescuing agony” would have been more visible and longer.

The day she turned 18, he showed her that she was his despite an arranged marriage that was to take place between Fallon and Anton. Anton is a snake in the grass and part of a gang the Savage Six are trying to negotiate with. Well not sure how this will play out. After several chapters of nothing and skimming I decided I will stop. Since there is over 50 chapters in this book I for see more of the nothing happening that I've already read.He called her Little Lamb, but for me she's not even a lamb... well she might be a lamb if you compare it to Cole but among her friends she is the definite example of how wolf would be. I liked that Fallon and Cole were confident and knew what they wanted. There was no unnecessary drama in their relationship. In so many books, characters miscommunicate and walk away when the whole problem could be solved with a simple conversation. Fallon and Cole just said what they thought, and I thought that was refreshing.

Wonderful story and it had an HEA and this story actually had what I love. They didn't break up with each other and instead there was other plot drama which I loved and what I aim to write as well. Age gap H36/h18 (I got to be honest, the cover is a let down though! No way a 36yo would look like the guy in the cover. He seems more like in highschool or college to me 😭😂) This is a steamy dad's best friend, age gap DARK romance with triggers and themes often found in these types of books.
