About this deal

If you’re a big barry M fan like me then these super affordable treatments will be right up your street. As you probably know from previous posts, one of my favourite nail polish companies would have to be Barry M. The polish dries down to a semi matte finish, which I think looks really sophisticated, and the sheer hint of colour gives that barely there look, perfect for those days when you want your nails to look "done", but not with an obvious wash of colour. With an innovative blend of PHA and AHA to help promote nail plate regeneration, strengthening and repairing thin or weak nails. I really like the concept of these types of polishes, as they’re perfect if you’re short of time of between manicure appointments.

The shade I opted for was Bashful, a really pretty pale baby pink, which looks really cute on the nails. Formulated with Aloe Vera and Seaweed Pearls sustainably sourced from the Philippines, rich in antioxidants to deeply nourish, soothe and protect the nail bed. I’m a fan of pampering, we know this, and one of the quickest ways to feel pampered is to pretty-up your fingers. Apply two coats onto bare nails as a clear layer, or one coat as a basecoat prior to Nail Paint Application. And honestly, it's perfect for those times you want to have something on your nails but can't be bothered with the whole routine, base coat, colour, second coat, (Third coat? The ‘semi-matte’ finish is nice, and if these nail polishes had a little more pigmentation I think they would work really nicely as a nail polish. It’s a really interesting product that really does flatter, with a slightly translucent, semi-matte finish. I picked up both the Mani Mask shades they had available and I’m going to share with you my thoughts.

Barry M is known as the most colourful name in cosmetics and the UK's number 1 fashion cosmetic company. Barry M live and breathe fashion, colour and style in the UK, making the best possible, best value products with a British sense of style. I’ve only used the products a few times and although it’s too early to say if they perminently improve my nails, I’ve definitely seen a difference in their strength. Saying that, the smell isn't extra strong like some nail polishes, it's just normal smelling, and the smell goes as soon as it dries, as usual. It's the type of colour I think you could actually use if you wanted to do a bit of a French manicure. Starting in London in 1982, our Founder Barry Mero, set out to revolutionise the industry with affordable British designed and manufactured makeup and nail products.

Ingredients: Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Isopropyl Alcohol, Silica, Stearalkonium Bentonite, N-Butyl Alcohol, Diacetone Alcohol, Phosphoric Acid. Hi, I am a 25 year old graduate from the University of Southampton now living and working in live entertainment in London. As I’m sure you can guess from the name, this is a product designed to considerably strengthen nails as a base coat and it delivers similar elements to the Super Mani, but with more of a focus on strengthening the nail, plus it’s more of a base coat and less of a treatment. I feel like all I’ve done in this blog post is moan about them, however they are actually a really lovely formula in terms of strengthening! A little tint, a little opacity and a little conditioning, these give you a semi-matte, semi-sheer finish that's comparable to Butter London's Nail Foundation.A few weeks ago I was invited to an event they were hosting, to launch their new range of nail care products. I’ve now started to use them as a base coat, applying a thin layer of this and then another layer of a more opaque nude nail polish on top.
