She looked incredibly cute, was very though, but became all girly and fiddly when her crush was around! Considering the size of these boots, I decided to grab my favorite pair of sneakers and make a pattern around it for her boots. Even though the cape and top are seperate parts, I decided that construction-wise it was better to cheat and put them together. D I always like to make overviews/stories like this as it's also a good diary and memory for myself about such a huge project.

Which I actually quite like, because it's just after the part where I throw the blade from my helmet. Because of all the waiting for drying I was going through, I decided to draw a face on the wighead (also because the wighead was already showing a lot of damages because of the heating shaping I did on it), so eh try to not pay too much attention to it.The first version of the wings were functioning enough, but not that great, so I hope to improve them soon. After being happy with the shape and a lot of sanding, I started measuring out where all the details were going to be. Normally I'm not the type for video-tutorials (I prefer pictures), but when a friend showed me his Youtube channel I was hooked!

But on the other hand, my boyfriend was laughing like crazy too because of how in-character Roshi was, so we had lots of fun! Before this costume I've made 4 pairs and each of them fell apart quite quickly, no matter which tutorial I followed to make them. Lots of people wanted to make pictures of us when we were talking and he even had a "master Roshi approves of this" sign with him.In general I don't make much pictures of that process, as it's incredibly boring to do and to watch people do! I got both positive and negative reactions on my color choice, but I think it looks very 80's, so I like it!

The best way to fix this mess was filling everything up that I damaged, re-sand it and repaint a lot of parts over again. So the process you see here happens with at least 3 layers and most of them have to be undercoated in 2-4 different positions so everything can dry well.

Chi-Chi's hairstyle is a variation of a hime-cut, which I already cut multiple times, but I wanted to make this one a bit more special. I like with Lilith how she comes over as very sexy, but is still quite clothed (she only has bare shoulders).
