About this deal
Kellan, dead from his hole, truly ended up taking the spotlight and became a shocker to the whole world.
The steamy scenes were extremely bland since our dearest two leads didn’t have any chemistry at all. even tho it was always planned he was going to commit su*cide, i’m so glad that he got his happy ending in his own story bc he truly deserved to be happy and loved! Everyones experience with mental health is different, and there is never one way to experience something. I would say I’m not emotional, sensitive, and it takes a really good and emotional book to make me feel something, but if you know me well, you know that is utter bullshit and I cry at every single sad thing that others may not cry at. I honestly thought that I knew what I was getting myself into when I started this book but I didn't.So both our main characters are dealing with their grief even years later, and unable to move on from it. We decided not to take the plunge and agreed to check on each other every Valentine’s Day until school ended. He ran up to Charlie to give her an umbrella so her stupid ass doesn’t get pneumonia because of the rain. god this book is heartbreaking, but it slowly very slowly puts ur heart back together — the journey of grief in this book was beautifully written.
What was the letter, tucked between the end of her bookshelf and a beauty manual, doing in her room four years later? The story starts when Charlie (Charlotte) is a teenager and one night she meets Kellan on the roof of their school.I can understand why Charlie was immediately infatuated by Tate (hot older doctor 😍) but Tate became obsessed with Charlie a little too quickly for my taste.
