I ended up skimming to see how it all ended between them but wasn't too invested in the world as a whole. But then she and Kri combine their selfishness into TSTL territory and ruined the end of the book for me. The issues discussed in the book make it only suitable for readers over 18, and even then it may be triggering for those sensitive to these types of things. She saves herself but Redleg decides to place her under their protective services 24/7 until they can find the person who took her. This book is a standalone, but is a continuation of Heartbreak Hero involving many of the same characters.

She has such a knack for writing a romcom/suspense story that will have you laughing out loud one minute and your heart racing the next.In Drone Alone, it was established that when Leo says "Mommy", it means he's hiding something from Tasha. I didn't notice any typos but there may have been 1 or 2 since I couldn't read the whole book in one sitting this time. When Tasha finds out, she kicks Leo off the team and tells him that he is moving back to Mission Creek.

It's especially annoying when the characters have conversations about certain things and then act in ways that contradict everything they said. Although, Adam could've been referring to Tasha and Donald dating, since he didn't specify that he was talking about marriage. Sammy’s frequent internal monologues occasionally were a little overwhelming to me, pulling me out of the story. You can only have 1 copy maximum of a “Limited” card in your Main Deck, Extra Deck, and Side Deck combined.And if that isn't enough, the kidnapping, unknown enemies drama and retribution violence is seriously addictive. She’s been so victimized by her ex-husband that she even faked her own suicide to satisfy his need to keep her isolated from everyone. Sawyer and Sammy have great chemistry together and the attraction that is there from the beginning that I knew they were going to keep me flipping pages. I do think you would want to read first book to understand Sammy and her brother Leo aka Sawyer’s best friend.
