You can pause and rewind live TV at the touch of a button allowing you to pause for a cup of tea or answer that door. This compact Humax HD TV Receiver gives you everything you need to be in control of your TV viewing.

If you can’t connect your SX to your router using an Ethernet cable, the update can be installed using USB instead. It is a 4G modem, which supposedly has a capacity of 64 devices that can connect to it, though obviously I've never achieved such figures. As the name suggests, these units are also 4K-ready, and while there aren’t any 4K Freesat channels at the time of writing, you can watch 4K Netflix and YouTube content from your box.

Weirdly, there’s still no Channel 4 app or HD catch-up service, but at least you can now watch The Great British Bake-Off, Taskmaster or The Great in glorious HD without switching to a streaming stick. Press and hold the Channel DOWN button/arrow on the front/top of your set top box and at the same time switch it back on at the mains or reconnect the power cable. Luckily, Freesat has now merged into the same organisation that runs Freeview, bringing Channel 4 HD back onboard. You can still watch On Demand content if you have an Ethernet cable (not supplied) to connect your internet router directly to the box.
