Thank you to Neela for not only rec'ing this book, but for all the funny ass texts about this book that hopefully never get out.Carlton skillfully strikes a balance between revelation and suspense, making sure that readers will be left with unanswered questions. The plot is essentially the Zade (H) saving sex trafficked girls and women while hunting down and killing pedos. This is so fucking harmful to rape victims and belittles what they went through as it implies that if you even felt a little bit of pleasure whilst being raped that it wasn't actually rape. the MOMENT I heard my man Teddy's voice being the narrator, it didn't matter if I've read the series or not.

That's my take on it, and I've read a lot of books with dubious consent in addition to none at all; compared to those, this one didn't make me feel uncomfortable about consent as those did. Adeline is better than me because i know if a man that looked like Zade approached me, i’d fold instantly. I stare at the flower like it's a live tarantula, staring straight back at me and daring me to come closer.I opened the parcel I got and the book front cover was quite bent, I’ve managed to put another book on top to try and flatten it however it was the best. Meanwhile, here he is, going into this girl's house, forcing himself onto her, justifying it because of the girl being turned on, and then leaving her there lying on the floor curled into herself and crying. So again, this book has no romantic aspect, thin plot and bad characters, so people read it for the smut.
