I support a small children home in India where orphan/vulnerable/poverty-stricken children are being given the tools and support to achieve their best. Michaela DePrince's story has me questioning whether or not I can love what I will be doing for the rest of my life as much as she did, despite the fact it lacks the deeper meaning ballet has for her. But ultimately, it didn't really matter because we all know what she will go onto, we know that she already has the career that she's aspiring to for so much of the book.
