Only five notes up and five notes down from middle C are presented and time values do not go beyond crotchets.

There are also two tempos for each song, allowing slower practice while it's needed - an ideal accompaniment for learning!Before each piece, the little monsters review all the notes and note values learnt in the previous book, and teach you about changing hand positions, new notes, simple chords, pauses, accents, accidentals, and key signatures of F and G majors.
