About this deal

Continued access to adjust light settings on touch screen or wirelessly control from the Rotolight App I'd still like to know if the lug is within Bowen's tolerances. But it looks like I'll be shaving the the tops of those lugs. Of course, if you get a chance to mike a real Bowen's mount, I'd like to see them. If I get that chance, I'll do the same. The adjustable clamp allows you to clamp the head of your Speedlite firmly and securely, with easy access to the controls. Godox was previously involved with the manufacture of Bowens products prior to the closure, but the Bowens factory was separate to the Godox production line.’ Continued access to adjust light settings on touchscreen or wirelessly control from the Rotolight App

But unfortunately, I also think this proliferation of the S-Fit was ultimately one of the causes of their downfall. Before long, competitively priced Chinese strobe companies like Godox began manufacturing S-Fit strobes that were good enough for all to use and at a price point to see them sideline the bigger Bowens. AURELIUS owns WEX so essentially WEX owns Bowens. This means that Bowens is simply an own-brand product of WEX. They are not buying Bowens heads and redistributing them, meaning they aren’t marking up the products price to sell them on and this means they have the largest margin to play with when it comes to selling the products.Take the Nanlite Forza 60's power and versatility to a new level with the included Forza 60 Battery Grip. By no longer relying on light stands for support, the Forza 60 can now be used anywhere and everywhere, perfect for run and gun filmmaking, creative effects and event photography. GO HAND HELD: The included Battery Grip enables approx. 1 hour of cord-free runtime at 100% brightness when equipped with 2x Sony L style NP-F750 batteries, plus by no longer relying on light stands for support, the Forza 60 can now be used anywhere and everywhere, perfect for run and gun filmmaking, creative effects and event photography.

Rotolight’s industry-first SmartSoft technology was first revealed in the flagship Rotolight Titan X2 and X1 lights and has been used on numerous feature films and by leading photographers around the world. The new SmartSoft Box, is the world’s first intelligent softbox, offering users the ability to focus and spread light without the need for gels or additional modifiers. I have some old Bowens mono lights that refuse to die, they're like old Marshall amplifiers! But I can't get the L fit softboxes anymore so is there a S to L adapter? Also, what is the S type diameter as I may be able to 'modify' an aftermarket softbox. Connects to the rear of standard Speedring adapters speedrings including INTERFIT, PROFOTO RFI, PHOTTIX and many more thedarkerwave: Could you point out the adapter you use? I'm looking for a decent horizontal mount adapter. ENDLESS LIGHT SHAPING POSSIBILITES: The Forza 60 is directly compatible with a purpose-built line of Forza 60 light modifiers, while the included Bowens S-Mount adapter expands compatibility to a massive selection of light modifiers, including but not limited to Nanlite's line of full-sized softboxes and umbrellas.

Just to be clear, I currently have no affiliation with Bowens, WEX, or any of these other companies in question and I am writing and sharing this due to my own personal curiosity and interest, nothing more. Bowens was certainly struggling and in June 2016, the German investment company AURELIUS bought Bowens. The following year, in July 2017, Bowens went into liquidation and AURELIUS closed it down completely shortly thereafter. We’ve heard nothing from them until now. So Where Does WEX Photographic Fit Into All of This? I have been using umbrellas for quite a while now and now looking to start using larger modifiers, particularly Octaboxes of around 150cm. Now I know what youre gonna say: "You wont have enough power blah blah blah" Yeah I know, thats not the question :)

Connects to the umbrella/softbox side of standard speedrings including INTERFIT, PROFOTO RFI, PHOTTIX and many more, placing the light inside your modifiereverything else fits otherwise despite the differences. I got 10.5 mm in depth on all three lugs where you got 9.8, and a rough average of 9.9 mm for the width of the lug where you got 9.9. I say rough because two measured 9.75 and the last one measured at 10.05mm.

Sony NP-F Style (Via BH-FZ60 Battery Grip) Battery Included: No Battery Required: No Charge Time to Full (Hours): Battery Dependant Charge Time to 80% (Hours): Battery Dependant Runtime @ 100% Brightness (Hours): 14.8V Sony V-Mount 150WH: 1.83 hoursBowens speedring adapter: two parts 1) the speed ring (with the copper colored screwie things) which will take the softbox 2) the interchangeble ring (in this picture with Bowens S mount) For example, they have to buy other photographic lighting heads like Profoto and then mark up the price to resell them. Whereas this is not the case with their new Bowens own brand. NOTE: There is a concern that, depending on the light you're using, the material of the round hole in the softbox may occluded part of the flashcube.
